I scoffed and picked myself up. Gripping onto the marble surface with fake, black nails made it harder for me to get up.
My dripping wet dress stuck to my body. I felt all wet and uncomfortable. The music from the party still blared and the place was blacked out.
I sniffed as my fingers felt around my black lace underwear in my hand. Looking down at it all I thought of was Jacob. How petty was that! A low scream escaped my lips before I started walking towards the house party.
All eyes were on me when I walked into the party. Such a great entrance, that. I brushed it all off, although their stares was all I could think about.
Scanning quickly around the crowd, in the coroner, I saw his Afro bouncing up and down. By now, the crowd looking at me went back to grinding, drugs and sex.
Limping towards Jacob, I started calling his name. Jacob. Jacob. Jacob. But my voice was just a croak.
"Jacob."
One person accidentally pushes me.
"Jacob."
One jerk slaps my ass.
"Jacoob."
A girl randomly kisses me.
"Jacob."
His eyes are right on me.
"Jac-"
Blackout.
The cold surface I was laying on woke me up. The blurry world of blacks and dark blues was on it's side so I sat up. I rubbed my head and looked around.
I saw a blurred vision of a yellow smiley face wearing an American flag bandana stuck on the black wheel of a black, shiny jeep.
Shaking my head, I got up. Maybe someone just driving away. Head banging and body numb.
I was at home. My home.
Getting the spare key from under the pot plant, I headed inside and up the stairs.
A smile swept my face once I laid eyes on my bed. Sweet sleep, sweet Toni.
I fell onto my bed and looked outside my window. Flashbacks of tonight flashing in my head.
