To me, there's almost nothing more frustrating than when you're a happy person but you're sad. It's in your nature to be happy. To make jokes and smile and laugh and be optimistic. But being sad contradicts your nature. And they either cancel each other out or those emotions go to war against one another, causing your mind or soul or whatever to become restless. Your body is frustrated.
You're angry but so sad and yet your nature of happiness is still trying to push through. It's like your most powerful emotions are all going to war and fighting for control. You feel one way while you can't help but feel another and your body is frustrated and hates itself while still trying to be happy.
It hurts almost physically. Just to not know how you're feeling. And you can't help but to swing back and forth between those conflicting emotions. It's horrible when your body and mind seem to be against each other.
