When I open my eyes
Tears fall freely
No one hears my cries
Dreams turned to nightmares
Always the same
Love before death
Thunder before rain
Blood and hell
Verses heavens light
War is upon us
It starts at midnight
Shaking and scared
One by one, men fall
Helplessly crying
I witness it all
A scream or battle cry
I'm ready to fight
Ready to sacrifice
Not afraid to die
