jungkook's hands were shaking. he was so nervous he felt like he couldn't breathe.

with every step he got nearer to jimin, his heart was beating harder, it wouldn't surprise him if he was going to pass out right now.

but he wanted to be strong, just once, for jimin and for himself.

taehyung had offered him to go with him but he needed to do this alone so he can say his last goodbye to jimin, the love of his life.

they were both young but jungkook was sure that he was never going to find someone like jimin ever again.

jungkook felt the tears he was crying, he hadn't even realized that he started crying but the weird thing was that he wasn't sad.

he felt... happy

happy that he finally visited jimin, he felt happy because he was sad for so long he was sick of it and he knew jimin wanted him to be happy again.

of course he's always going to miss jimin but that didn't mean that he had to stop living.

he was going to live for both of them and let the dreams they had become reality.

1 year later

dear jimin,
this is going to be my last letter to you.

i just wanted to tell you that i bought a apartment in paris, it's small but i know you would have loved it...

i also tried to make new friends, go out more often and work hard.

and please don't think i'm going to forget you because you're always going to be in my heart and i know that i'm not going to love someone like i loved you.

i'm going to buy a small cute christmas tree every year and of course some days i'm going to be sad and maybe i'm going to cry while thinking about you but i started to look forward to my life and i know you would have been proud of me.
