The code

Brendon gets out of the pool and hugs you. You start to cry gripping the letter in your hand harder. Brendon pulls away and wipes tears off your face. He grabs the letter and reads it.
"Who is this psycho?" He questions as he rips the note. You both hear a knock at the door, you were both hesitant to get it. It was another envelope on the step, on top of a box. Brendon grabs it and puts it on a table outside next to the grill. Brendon made you stay inside with the door locked and a few steps away from it. You looked out the glass door to see Brendon open the letter. He taped it to the door for you to read.

I would never hurt Brendon. But I can't say the same for you. But then again it would emotionally hurt him. So I won't hurt you. But watch your back. This isn't a threat but this isn't a peace offering either. Do everything what I say and everything will go smoothly."

You look at Brendon to see him opening the box. It was a red note that said 'Brendon.' on it. Brendon puts it down and looks inside the box. He flipped it upside down to see a cardboard sheet fly down followed by a hundred pieces of paper. He pulled another note out.
