Jisung: more than friends

This is for my friend. She really loves Jisung and her birthday is in June 2. So happy birthday ma dude.

Narrator:

Jisung and Y/N had been friends since kindergarten. And Jisung has been super protective towards Y/N ever since they entered High School. Boys had been asking Y/N but it always ends with an "no" since Y/N always ask Jisung for advice and some ask Jisung to for Y/N. The only reason why Jisung was like this because he always liked Y/N from the beginning. But he never confessed due to being scared of rejection. So he just became overprotective towards Y/N.

As Jisung was waiting for Y/N's class to end so they can walk home together Chenle suddenly went up to him. "Aye Lover boy, waiting for your madam?" Chenle ask. "Yes I'm waiting for Y/N and will you stop calling me 'lover boy' is annoying." Jisung replies. "Anyway I was wondering if you're joining us for lunch tomorrow." Chenle asks Jisung again. "Huh?" "Jisung your forgot about the lunch thing? It's just me and the group it's a hang out." "Oh ok... I'll be there then." Jisung replies. "Let's go there together then, I'll go to your house tomorrow. Bye Jisung" Chenle said as he left.

As soon as Chenle left Jisung saw Y/N talking to a guy and he assumed that it was just a friend... in reality he's just trying to control himself. As Y/N saw Jisung she ran up to him. "JISUNG" Y/N shouted and earning some attention from the others then just went back to whatever they were doing.

~time skip~

As they were walking home quietly enjoying each other's presence Jisung suddenly broke the silence. "So Y/N who was that guy you were talking to?" He ask. "Oh he was just asking about the homework since he said he wasn't really listening." She lied.

What actually happened earlier was that the boy was asking Y/N out. Out of Y/N curiosity about dating she said "yes". She knew that if she told Jisung about it he would not accept it and make her reject him. It's just a small date anyway as Y/N thought. Like it could hurt Jisung right?

~time skip~

Jisung's pov:

As me and Chenle went to the meeting place I didn't really expect the meeting place to be a ice cream parlour to be honest. "Hey it's Jisung and Chenle!" As Jaemin told the others. And we just sat down then ordered.

~time skip... again~

Y/N's pov:

As I was with the boy who asked me out. He suddenly ask. "Hey Y/N want ice cream?" "Yeah sure." I answer. As we enter to parlour. And ordered our ice cream suddenly the boy's phone rang. As he answered it and gave me my ice cream he suddenly said "I'm sorry Y/N but I have to go." He said and he just ran away.

Narrator:

Little did Y/N know that Jisung saw her as he saw the boy ran. Jisung went up to Y/N not minding the questions from the group then just pulled Y/N out of the parlour.

"Y/N what are you doing here? And why were you with that boy?" Jisung ask with a bit of tune in his voice. He knew that Y/N would just give up the lying so Y/N just answer. "Fine. I... um the boy asked me out that time he didn't ask me about the homework. I just had to lie to you because I wanted to know how it felt to be in a date. And I know that if I told you that he asked me out you'd make me reject him." Y/N explained looking down knowing her best friend is angry at her. "Really, Y/N really?! YOU HAD TO LIE TO ME HUH?! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU?! YOU LIED TO ME?! YOU LIED TO YOUR BEST FRIEND?! Y/N IF YOU JUST WANTED A DATE THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU ASKED ME HUH?! YOU CAN ALWAYS ASK ME... I'm your best friend... and I just want to be more than that. That's why I didn't want you to date anyone..." As he realized what he said to Y/N he ran away not knowing what to do and went home leaving Y/N stunned.

Jisung's pov:

As I went home I texted the group with "sorry I went home I wasn't feeling well" then when I hit send I just realize they probably saw me getting all angry at Y/N but I just didn't look at my phone anymore. They know about me liking Y/N they usually tease me about it but I'm thankful that they didn't really told her... but I did... and the worst of all that confession was I was angry at Y/N...

Y/N must be upset right now... like I care anymore. She was the one who lied in the first place...

~time skip~

Y/N's pov:

As I went home with guilt of lying to Jisung and knowing Jisung actually liked me...
I feel confused yet not... I don't know what to do... I mean I just only accept the date because I thought it was a way of getting over Jisung... I always have feelings towards Jisung but I always thought that he only sees me as a little sister to protect...

I need to apologise to him and confess

~another Time skip since I'm running out of ideas... anyways to school~

Narrator:

It's already lunch and Y/N was looking for Jisung and as she saw Jisung eating alone. Sje went to him and sat down in front of him.

As Jisung notices that someone was in front of him. He looked up and saw Y/N.

"What do you want?" Jisung says coldly. "It was wrong of me to lie at you Jisung. I'm sorry. And I just want to confess everything to you-" Y/N was suddenly cut off by Jisung. "What do you mean by 'confess everything'? Was that not
your first time to lie to me?" Jisung ask. "No it's the first. But let me continue... as I was saying 'by confess everything' is that... the only reason why I wanted to go to dates is because I wanted to get over you and thinking that you only see me as a friend..." Y/N all explained but the last one was in a low tone but Jisung heard it. "What was the last one Y/N?" Jisung says in a teasing tone as his mood was back to normal. As Y/N noticed that teasing tone she just suddenly turned to bright red. As Jisung notices her face he just laughs at her then says "cute" to Y/N getting Y/N more flustered. She lowers her face and covers it.

"Hey hey hey don't hide your face." Jisung said.
Then a long silence between them was created.

"So... since you also like me... does that mean we're dating..." Jisung asks. "I suppose...?" Y/N answers. Then a smile was plastered to their faces once again.
