Recently news broke that there would be a new character in Stranger Thing named Jasmine Chandler. It was rumored that she was set to start appearing in episode 4. But recently the official Stranger Things twitter confirmed that Sunnie Jacob will be playing Jasmine Sawyer in season 3.

Our sources have confirmed that Sawyer will be another love interest for Finn Wolfhards character Mike Wheeler. The character already has a strong connection with Millie Bobby Browns character Eleven with a ship name "Mileven". The Duffer Brother commented on Sawyer saying "We hope she's a fan favorite. She was brought to Hawkins to stir up a little bit of trouble and also to show how human the characters are".
Recently Wolfhard and Jacob were caught hanging out together around set, as well were spotted outside of cast mate Sadie Sink's birthday party. We also have a source who was at the party who said that they saw Wolfhard and Jacob getting very close.
