Archie sat on the couch of the Lodge's penthouse along with the rest of the bulldogs. They laughed to each other at the reactions given by some of them towards the football game they were watching.
Archie had planned to do it at their house, but Veronica insisted that since her parents were out of town Archie could bring his friends for a game night, with the condition of not breaking anything and getting the house dirty of course. They had snacks all over the table in which their feet rested on, but there was one thing missing. Beers.
Noticing this, Archie furrowed his thick eyebrows together and glanced at the girl who laid in his arms next to him, seemingly trying to ignore the group of males around her as she read her book peacefully. He let a small smile form on his lips at the sight , leaning up to her and nuzzling his nose against her neck.
"Ronnie..." He called out, still with his face buried on the crook of her neck.Veronica let out a loud sigh, laying her book down on her lap and rolling her eyes in annoyance. She had already regretted letting Archie bring his friends, after all the main room was already dirty, but she tried to ignore it. She could just flip at Archie later.
"Yes, Archiekins?.." She questioned, to which he hummed and brought his head back up so he could look into her eyes."We need more beers...." Archie let out breathily, as he himself had already had a few.
The Latina raised one of her perfectly done eyebrows at him, her expression now even colder than before. She hated it when Archie was drunk and she had no problem showing it whatsoever.
"And what exactly do I have to do with that, Archie?" She questioned, fixing herself on the couch so that she was facing him.Stupidly, Reggie heard their conversation and aggressively laid a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"C'mon Veronica, the man wants you to go get him some beers, isn't it obvious?" He questioned with a laugh, as he himself was a bit more sober than the ginger.Veronica rolled her eyes again and grabbed Reggie's wrist, pulling his hand away from her shoulder without even glancing at him, the whole time her eyes were fixed on her boyfriend's as her eyebrow was still arched.
"You better not be expecting me to go get you beers." She warned, her expression still cold.Archie let a small nervous chuckle escape his lips as he brought one hand to the back of his neck, scratching it.
"Eh...n-no...it's okay...forget it, I'll g-" He was about to say, before a loud noise was heard coming from the other end of the large couch, making everyone stop talking and look at none other but moose, who had let an expensive white porcelain vase that had previously stood on the small table next to the couch fall onto the ground, completely shattering it.Archie's eyes quickly widened.
"Moose, man, what the hell?!" He questioned, trying to get up from the couch before a female hand was quickly put on his chest, pushing him to sit back down.
The ginger male looked at Veronica in confusion as to why she had pushed him back down onto the couch. The raven haired girl completely ignored Archie's confusion and got up herself, reaching over for the controller and turning the tv off before turning to the other bulldogs and resting a hand on her hip.
"The party's over, I guess you'll hav to watch the game in your own houses, so I would suggest you to run before it ends." She said with a small smile as she pointed towards the exit, a challenging look in her eyes as if she was dating any of them to argue against her will.None of them did, of course. They all got up, even Archie himself, who was ready to throw on his jacket and get out while he could.
Unfortunately for him, Veronica was now staring at him.
"Oh, not you Archie. Sit back down." She ordered as the others started to leave.
