Chapter 8 On Watch/ Live show 6

Once I was out of hospital and had explained everything to everyone Simon had made sure that I moved into his house for the rest of the show so he can keep an eye on me so basically I was on watch. Simon made sure that I was not alone at any time I had to be with someone all the time it was not fun at all. But I see why he did it so that I could not cut anymore. Mainly because there were only 6 contestants left on the show and it was getting a lot harder. Being in the top 6 it means having to sing two songs. The two songs that I was to sing was how to save a life by the Fray and she will be loved by maroon 5 two hard songs which means I have to practice really hard if I want to get through to the top 5. So here I am on my way to meet Simon so that I can practice for the show but I was not alone I had Andy my bodyguard yes Simon had hired a bodyguard for me I don't know why though. Any way I got to the studio to practice and I just finished my first song and I am now half way through the second song until I could not sing anymore due to the fact that my throat starting hurting I didn't know what to do I wanted to crawl into a ball and cry. Simon had noticed because he came over to me asking me what was the matter all I did was point to my throat he straight away knew something was wrong with my throat so he told me to go and have a rest. I must have been sleeping because when I woke up Simon was next to me with a tea in his hands. For the rest of the week I could only practice for about 1 hour a day but hopefully I do could on the night. The night had come to perform I did struggle to get some words outs because of my throat but I did both songs the best I could do. The results day had arrived and the host was calling out names and I was just writing for my name to be called because it was me and two other acts so when he called my name I was really happy to say that I was not going in the bottom two.
