sitting by the window,
watching the snow fall outside
wiping the tear away
she cries out inside
pain streaking through her,
she remembers that night
that lonely winter night
he shattered her heart and,
played with her a game
destroying her in the process
on that lonely winter night
remembering that feeling
of him beside her then
she lets out a sigh of sadness
as she remembers,
how he left her alone
on that lonely winter night
fighting the tears, she shuts her eyes
trying to lock the memories away
but no matter how hard she tries,
she can't seem to let him go
he hounds her every thought,
he's in her every dream
and she knows,
he was the one for her
sitting by the window
watching the snow fall outside
she wipes away the tears
leakin from her eyes
it's so hard,
but she can't ever forget,
that lonely winter night.
