Second Person POV
You're so excited, it's you're 18th birthday, and you've gotten the best gift ever! You FINALLY get to meet your cousin, Connie. It's been about 12 years since you saw her as a tiny squirming baby. The only problem was the long drive from Empire City to Beach City. You've been dreading having to sit through such a ride. By the time you escape your thoughts, you're done packing. "Great.", you say as you sigh, closing a full suitcase is a lot of work.
"YYYY/NNNN!!!!", Your mom yells from downstairs , "ARE YOU ALMOST READY!?" "ALMOST MOM!", you reply as you quickly put on your jacket, grab your bag, and rush down the stairs (an obvious safety hazard) you trip, but luckily your mom catches you. After scolding you, you both walk out the door.
Time Skip ;-;
After driving for about 2 hrs, you see a sign that reads, "Welcome to Ocean City (the now tourists attraction)", you gasp not knowing that you would be traveling through such a historic place. You immediately take out your phone and begin to snap pictures of every sign you see. Soon after you start to dose off.
You wake up in a...pinkish cloud..place? Okay you have no idea where you are. You get up and start to walk around. You silently begin to take notice of everything in your surroundings. You soon approach a temple atop a hill.
You think about how beautiful it is while you self consciously climb the short pile of stairs leading to the door. When you reach the top, the temple begins to fade from the scene of clouds leaving to fall to the sand below, knocking you out cold. A few minutes later, you begin to regain consciousness and see a boy in a red shirt he startled you so you scream.
You wake up still screaming causing your mom to swerve off the road
