(Cratos' POV)
Stupid people. Every single mission, they want to know what my mission is and where am I going, and it kind of gets on your nerve at times. But once i got on the plane, I was relieved. Jason and I was I picked seats in the front. Jason took the window seat while listening to his iPod. I took my seat and decided to take a nap. I was extremely exhausted from the night before.
It felt like only five minutes when I heard, "Cratos, get up!!" I was shaken awake. I looked up to see Jason's face. I asked, "What?!" "We're in Montana." I was quite excited. I was closer to finding the girl with the voice.

Conner and I were having an awesome time in the meadow relaxing. Quiet. Beauty. All of a sudden, a figure started to come the shadows. It came into view. Oh my gosh, it was a deer. Conner jumped. He and animals never had a good history.
The deer came over to me. I started to pet it. Conner started to reach to pet it. I whispered to the deer, "It's fine. He's not going to hurt you," in it's ear. while Conner was still reaching to pet it, the deer met him half way. the deer started rubbing against him. Conner smiled. I was always glad when he was happy. He had the most goreous smile, especially when his eyes sparkled. "Autumn, why are you staring at me?" he asked pulling me out of my trance. "What?! I wasn't looking at you!" He leaned closer to me and whispered, "You are not a good liar." I know. I am not saying I am perfect, but I try my best never to lie. Conner looked into my eyes. I looked away. Dammit. Those eyes can make any girl melt. But I just can't. Not since Jacob.
'Who's Jacob?' you're probably asking. Well, Jacob is my ex-boyfriend. He is only an ex because he died. Not only died. But died in front of my face.
(Flashback)
He and I were hanging out at his place alone, with no parents. But he lived in an unsafe neighborhood. So when we were watching a movie, (noting Jacob never locked any of the doors), someone came in. He was extremely quiet. We had no idea he was there until Jacob was in his grip. I screamed. Jake struggled with all his might. The mysterious guy guy said, "Keep struggling, I will kill your little girlfriend too." "Run, Autumn," Jake managed to say. "No, Jacob. I'm staying right here," I said foolishly. "You're choice, missy. But you might be sorry you decided to watch," the man said with an evil look in his eye, taking a knife out and stabbing Jacob in the stomache. I cried as he winced. The guy let him fall, and stabbed in multiple places. Finally, I screamed, "Stop!" he looked me straight in the eye, and said, "What?" I said more firmly "Stop and leave!" At my my shock, he stopped and left. But he stopped and left. But that day, I didn't stop to wonder why. I ran over to Jacob, but it was too late. I cried and cried. It was a matter of time befor Conner came to pick me up. I had nightmares every night for a month. And each time i did, I saw Jake's face. And the blood.
(End of flashback)
And ever since, I haven't dated any guy. Besides the only guy I liked is Conner, and I don't want him or me to get hurt.
