"Now I think about it, you're quite small. No offense."
The other just nodded absentmindly, looking around him. "Oh."
"Aren't you vexed?"
"Did you say that to offend me?"
"No, I said "no offense"..."
"Then I'm not." he shrugged.
The two began to walk again next to each other in an awkward yet comfortable silence. The blonde was guiding Yoongi around the city because knew this place quite well, he and his family often came to this beach during their holidays. He was kind of lucky that Namjoon asked to go here specifically, it gave him the opportunity to list all the good things to do here to Jungkook. However, he never really had to worry about being accepted or not, his dad just put all their belongings in their car before they went somewhere. Hence, they were still looking for a good restaurant where they'll be able to go even with all the beach-stuff they had on their back. Let's say it wasn't really easy, they had been walking for ten minutes now, under the sun.
Their hands brushed more than eight times in those said ten minutes, Taehyung counted, but neither of them did anything about that, the blonde wasn't really complaning anyways. Yoongi on the other hand... he seemed tired even if they only walked during ten minutes, but he wasn't saying anything.
Think fast Taehyung... where can we– oh! I know!
"Mfyod, I know where we can go! Follow me!"
"M.. mfy– what the heck?"
Taehyung didn't answer. He grabbed the other's arm to make him walk faster – which wasn't really useful to be honest, but seeing him smile made him happy.
However his smile fell off his face when he saw where they were.
"Taehyung."
"Yeah?"
"This is literally next to where I was seated when we met. You made me walk all around the city to make me come back here?! We did a circle?"
"Hey, I know where shops and restaurants are, it doesn't mean I know how to reach them."
-
"And for you, sir?"
"Do you have money, mfy– I mean Yoongi?"
"Sure, why?"
"Then I'll take a XXL burger with fries and a soda please."
"Noted, I'll come back with your order." the waitress smiled and took their menu before leaving to the kitchen.
Yoongi didn't even bother to speak anymore, he understood that the other was going to make him pay. After all he was the one who asked Taehyung to take him to the restaurant, he couldn't really complain now. And the smile on his face was enough to make him forget about the amount of money he was going to spend today. They were sitting in this small restaurant for a little while now, they just ordered some food after putting away the stuff they had in a locker room. It was probably not the cheapest, but Yoongi was so hungry and tired that he would have accepted to pay for a glass of water. Yes, walking for ten minutes had him almost dying.
He was now a bit bored, staring at the man in front of him. They were sitting at the back of the restaurant quite far from other customers due to the amount of people already eating, near the window. They had a great view on the beach, but Taehyung was what interested him for the moment. Hence, he -finally- took ofhis sunglasses to see what he looked like without them and was surprised to see that his skin still had a honey-like color. He didn't know if it was tanning, but gosh, if it was, he'd wish for the sun to shine everyday so his skin could keep this alluring color.
