We talked for a long while as the night rolled along smoothly.

"So..." I prodded at my chicken pad thai with my fork and looked up at Amelia. "What's your profession if you don't mind me asking?" She looked at me and tilted her head slightly, her mouth filled with teriyaki chicken and rice. "Oh, " She swallows the food down. "- I work as a waiter but, I specialize in film production." I raised my eyebrows and nodded. "That's cool. Have some ideas for any upcoming movies?" I asked, interested.
She nodded her head rapidly, excited.

"Actually, yes I do! I don't have them with me but, I can promise you they're really good!" I smiled.

"I bet they are."

"What's your profession, Frazer?" She asked.

"I'm a professional graphics designer. I make covers for websites, Icons for businesses, etcetera. You could basically say, I bring to life customers imaginations." Amelia nodded.

"You look like the artsy type. You know, with your sense of style and all that."

I laugh. "I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not?" Amelia smiled as she pointed her spoon at me.

 "You should."

"Well, I appreciate that."

We both stepped outside into the cold, September night. Amelia looked me in the eyes once again and smiled.

"Well, I should go. I hope we can do this again. This...This was fun." I nod and smile back. I've been doing that a lot tonight.

"Yes, it was. Can I, maybe, have your number?" I ask as we walk towards a small, blue, Duraflex.

"Of course!" Says Amelia.
She reaches into her purse and grabs a pen. Then, she grabs my right hand, sending jolts throughout my body, and starts to write her number down. When she lets go, she takes out her car keys and opens her car door.

"See you later, Frazer." And she blows a kiss to me as she closes her door. I wave, my smile grew bigger.
I call after her, "I'll see you later, Amelia!" And with a wave back, she pulled out of her parking space and drove away and around the corner, out of the plaza.

I looked back down at my hand. Scribbled on it was her number and a winky face with the phrase "See Ya' Later!" next to it. I looked up at the night sky that looked especially beautiful and bright tonight and said out loud.

"Well, seems like Zach was right for once."

I then walked to my car, hopped in, and drove home humming, 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran.
