The week went like normal. Bronwyn worked after school and Embry came over after patrol. After five days f that routine, the weekend arrived precisely on time. Embry walked up the stairs to his imprint's room after Wynny let him in the house. Bronwyn was listening to music, using her hairbrush as a microphone. When her boyfriend strolled into her room, it didn't stop her.
Matter of fact, Bronwyn picked up another brush and gave it to him. He looked at her with an unsure expression. Was he really willing to let the pack see this scene on patrol later? However. all she had to do was change the song to Firework by Katy Perry, a secret favorite of his, and he couldn't hold back. The karaoke turned into a simple dance party when the Katy Perry song ended, neither wearing their shirts anymore. Their movements were somewhat awkward. Sometimes they danced apart, sometimes together.
Laughter streamed through the air, sometimes louder than the music. Wynny sat in the kitchen downstairs, delighted to listen to her daughter feeling so happy.

On the other side of the window, a pack of wolves was watching the couple. Now and then they glanced at each other, keeping a conversation.
Do we leave them be?
I wanna dance with Bronwyn too.
Why does he get to skip patrol?

They looked up at the couple again. Bronwyn had stumbled and Embry caught her, leading to them just swaying in each other's arms.

"I need you to go shopping with me tomorrow." Bronwyn smiled.
Embry lifted his head to look at his girlfriend. "What?" She did not answer verbally. All she did was lean in and give him a small kiss, sealing the deal.
"It's going to be fun, babe."
