My sky blue eyes starred back at me. I looked a lot like my father when he was younger, except I had jet black hair.

It still fucked me up that my family hadnt been excepting of me and Tia's relationship but I was in the south. Shit like that was bound to happen. If it hadnt a been for Lucien James, Tia's father, I dont know where I would be.

Just as I out some eye drops in to clear out the red from the blunt I'd just pulled on a car I'd been waiting for rolled up.

Wasting no time I strolled up and saw her start fiddling with her phone. She was trying to play me with that bullshit.

When I'd yanked her door open after asking her to roll the window down she looked like she'd been ready to shoot my ass.

"Can I help you?" She asked as I reached in and took her phone.

"Whats more interesting than me?" I looked at her phone while she tried to reach for it. Shoes.

"Give me my fucking phone Kane," she was definitely ready to murder me.

"Okay okay," I handed her the phone back. "Why aint you called?"

The look on her face was shock. I watched as she swept her hair over her shoulder. "Kane, I'm not interested. Let me get this straight...you ate me out. I didn't ask. And then you sent me on my way."

I held up my hands in mock defense. She was spitting fire and to be honest no woman especially those who knew who I was said shot back to me.

"Look, you gonna be working for me..." I spoke.

"Come again?"

"This club...its half mine. Marc mostly runs it, I prefer buying up real estate, but technically you my employee."

She took a deep breath and then straight up walked away from me and into the club.

I watched Teegan go through her set a few times. Her and the other girls from Trinity were now standing off to the side when Amber came through.

Amber was mixed; she was Latina and black and she had a mean streak in her a mile long.

We'd fucked a long time ago and she didnt appreciate how things ended.

"So you fucking Kane?" I heard Amber ask Teegan.

"Excuse me?" Teegan replied clearly taken aback by the question.
