Kind of very disappointed in myself that I've made you wait this long to deliver such a short chapter; but I have a reason why it's short. I wanted to have it end on a cute note, because if everything goes smoothly, the next chapter to come will be heart squeezing; and not in the good way.

Dedicated to kadiebmore (again) because she's just an amazing reader and she seems to comment on every chapter; which is very helpful for a writer.

Third Person Point of View

Niall huffs out a breath as he sits at a red light, ten blocks from his home he actually lives at. He looks to his steering wheel where the horn is, and tightens his grip on the leather. He needs to go somewhere he can think, a place that has always calmed him. Niall curses under his breath and drives to the side so he's switching lanes, and makes an illegal u-turn. Niall doesn't care if he gets pulled over, even though he knows he won't have the patience to handle a cop with a stick up their ass. Niall races the opposite direction of his home, turning the 15 minute drive almost as simple as a 5 minute drive around the block. Niall drives to the garage door under the building, puts in the code he was given long ago, and drives forward. Niall parks beside his empty parking spot and goes to the elevator to bring him to the sixth floor. It's been a long time since Niall came here, much less unannounced. And the unannounced visits to his own home used to be reciprocated fairly. Niall is glad he still pays, and started paying at all, for a parking spot here, even though this wasn't his home. He's even more glad he still kept the spare key on his main set of keys that were always somewhere near.

As the elevator rose, Niall felt his stomach bomb dive and nervous insects with fluttering wings to float against his stomach's walls; butterflies. It's an odd feeling. Niall ponders, he hasn't felt it in a long time. Even when with Alex, whom he swore he loved. Niall's whole face emerged into a deep frown then. Did he love Alex? He thought he did, he let him do all these, bad, bad things to him; and he hadn't cared at the time because Niall thought he loved Alex. But Niall isn't so sure at the anymore.

The elevator doors open, and Niall's heart rate picks up, along with an insistent flip-flopping of his stomach. Poor butterflies, Niall thinks, they'll drown if my stomach doesn't stop throwing waves at them. It's a confusing and totally absorbing feeling for Niall. New yet, old. This nervousness to see only one person, someone he's known for so long it seems. Niall reaches the desired front door, and breathes in shakily. If any of his neighbours were to come out of their apartments, most would nod at him or smile; they grew used to seeing a famous person, or really just Niall himself, roaming the halls of the sixth floor.

Harry's Point of View

I can see myself liking Marie in a romantic sense, but the only problem is, how long that'll take. By the way she was flushed with nerves and over worried about embarrassing herself, her school girl crush on me is blossoming fairly quickly. I sigh as I lean against the outside of my car, staring at the elevator across from me in the parking lot. She's an amazing girl, so I can't pretend to have feelings for her when I don't, it wouldn't be fair to her. I brush my fingers through my hair, groaning out frustratingly as I drop my hand. I came to terms last night during my brief insomnia, that I like Niall. I have since I first met him, and I've let it blindly grow. I may even foolishly love him. Foolish, because there's not a chance he'll ever return the intensity of my feelings. He seems so intent with Alex, let alone the fact Niall is probably pansexual or even bi-curious; I doubt he's completely gay or bisexual. There's also the fact now that Niall is this confusing and anger ridden man, I don't know how that'll affect me. It'll probably only hurt me in the long run; especially if his anger is ever directed towards me.
