Chapter 2 (Emma)

The next day after school Emma rode the bus home. All day she couldn't stop thinking about that man. He didn't seem to go to her school cause she has never seen him in the halls during passing period. But then again she also has never seen him anywhere else.

Group chat with Sam and Cody:

Sam: hey em, what's been up with you yesterday and today? You seem really off.

Emma: oh yeah I'm fine. Just thinking.

Cody: you think a lot and you ever never thinked with that face before.

Sam: thinked? Really?

Cody: yes it works!

Emma: oh quit it you two love birds I'm leaving. Peace. ✌️

*Emma left chat room*

"Ughhh" she signed when she was unlocking the door to her house. When she went in she immediately did her chores and saw on the counter and little note. It read:

Emma, please go to the store to get some cake mix, eggs, butter, and milk. You can choose the flavor and the flavor of icing. Also get some ice-cream. Spoons, and plates and forks also. I will be home around 6. Love, Mom

"Hmm, my mom never does this. She always gets the stuff before she comes home." Emma got her bike from the garage and took off to the store. It takes her about 15 minutes to get there.

When Emma started to head towards the dessert isle she noticed the man in all black leaving the restroom. She quickly speed walks to grab the rest of the items and heads to the check out. After she checks out she puts the stuff in her bags and walks to her bike.

She has to walk part of the way because of the big hill and that part is next to the tree line. She is hoping that she will not see the man and tries to stay in the road but that is quite hard since there are surprisingly a lot of cars passing. There is one white van though with the windows dark so she can't see inside.

Just then the man in the black comes out and starts to chase her. She quickly drops her bike and starts to run up the hill not caring about the eggs in her bag. Slowly though the man starts to catch up to her and the pushes her down the hill. He grabs a white cloth from his pocket and tries to put it on her face. He struggles a bit but then Emma blacks out...
