Epilogue

Once upon a time,there was a little village called Greenieree Village. Next beside that village,there was a big,green forest called Calade Forest.

The forest served a hundred,thousands of fruits and many other edible things. It helps the villagers around because no matter,how many fruits they take,it will never ends.

Little did they know, the forest actually hold a very big secrets. That only the elderly knows.

The elderly is said to be the 'forest messenger'. The villagers believe that the forest has it own human body and said to be living there. When it wants to say something to the villagers, it will turns into a human and say it to the elderly--who will deliver its messages to other people. And yes,they all believe them.

Legends says that the forest is a place for the God of Calamity and Despair. Long time ago, he met a human boy who wants one of his trees. The boy was being abused and kicked out by his parents. His parents order him to cut one the trees in that forest before he go back home.

Feeling pity, the God allowed the boy to cut only one tree. The god helped the boy and cut one of his trees. After the boy is back,the boy's parents surprised at what they saw. Their son can cut that 'cursed forest' tree all by himself! Actually the tree in that forest hold a million dollars of money,or even more. Because everytime someone tries to cut the trees,they will either be killed or gone missing.

The next day, they sold the tree and become rich. Blinded by the money, the boy's father hired some workers and woodcutters to cut more trees in the forest,believing the 'fact' that if his son is safe,of course then he would be safe too. Knowing it,the boy tried to stop his father. But its useless,his father already burn down the forest.

Feeling that someone has burn his forest, the god were angry. He killed all of the villagers in there, even innocent ones. And re-create the village to become one of the trees in there. The god feels betrayed by the humans and decided to change the world. But first, he needs a human body. He found the boy that he made a promise to,unharmed. He's shocked but happy at the same time. Because only a pure human heart can survive his calamity and he found it,right in front of his eyes--a suitable vessel,he thought.

"You are now my vessel."

"I will live inside of you forever."

"I will seek and kills other humans who thinks and behave badly."

"And for that,i need you to live a long live."

"You're immortal now."

"You could say that i curse you,for what your parents did."

"And no one could dispell it."

No one.

I clap my hands as Granny done reading her stories to me. It was a sad,tragic yet wonderful stories.

"Where is that boy now,grannie?" I ask purely,being an only five years old kid at that time.

"Hmm...I don't know too. But maybe he has come back to the forest after his long journey." Grannie said my caressing my hair.

"Oh! Oh! Will i meet him when i come to the forest then?" I jumped up and down my bed.

She laughed. "Ohhh...Maybe you will if you're being a good girl."

"I'm always being a good girl!"

"A good girl have to sleep at this time. But you're not sleeping right now." She says while pinching my nose.

"Noooo!! I will sleep now then! Goodnight,grandma."

"Goodnight,honey. Sleep well. Love you."

I still remembered that time. The time where i'm still living happily. Hearing all of the stories from my grandma about the legend of the forest near my town.

But now...

Why is it becoming like this...
