Use My Headphones ; Junhao

Chapter 6

Jun met Minghao at the courtyard, as planned.

"Thanks for letting me use them Jun-hyung. I really hope you don't mind me borrowing your headphones." Jun shook his head and waved a dismissive hand.

"It's no problem. But can I ask why you don't bring your own headphones to school?" Minghao inhaled deeply before biting his lower lip.

"I...actually don't have any headphones of my own. My parents won't allow them because they think music is distracting when studying."

"Damn, strict parents much?" Minghao sadly nodded. It was awkward for a few moments and then he started to say that he should go home but Jun stopped him.

"Do you want to hang out for a bit now? I'm totally free." Minghao hesitated a bit, which worried Jun.

"I mean it's fine if you don't to I bet your parents would be wondering where you are, and why you're not home-"

"Ok sure. We've been classmates for like 5 years now and we've barely spoken before." Jun looked a bit taken aback at how easy it was to get Minghao to agree.

"I know a park near here that has a great view of the lake. Wanna go there?" Minghao nodded.
