BUT I DONT KNOW HOW SO YEAH

HERE

_____________

Hamilton's pov

Thunder, lightning, the sky turning gray, rain drops small and quick. The pitter patter of the drops slowly turning more violent

Smooth drops of refreshing drizzle, turning to needles seeping into the flesh

Rain, storms, hurricane.

Everyone running for their lives, the water quickly following them from behind. Drowning, crying, falling

Buildings wash up, a woman cries for her child, a man longs for his wife

They all say their last goodbyes

In the eye of the hurricane

There is quiet

For just a moment

A yellow sky

When I was seventeen a hurricane

Destroyed my town

I didn't drown

I couldn't seem to die

The sounds of cries being muted by the water turns into an unbearable ringing

James, my brother, lifeless, floating in the water along with people I know and loved

I drop to my knees

Why

why couldn't it be me?

I was twelve when my mother died

She was holding me

She was sick but she was holding me

I couldn't seem to die

I stand in front plague like death

Hamilton

Why cant I just die
