"...wow..."

Hey sorry for not updating sooner, also ima need some votes here soon and some more people to read the story so I can keep going. Trust me, it'll get really good later on! Enjoy:)

        As Mikaela started to walk, she stumbled upon a slithery type thing below her feet. She stopped and bent down. Her eyes gazed at the creature. She then rememberd that it was a snake from when she learned about them in class. She stood back up and looked around. There wasn't anything but grass, the distance from her and the school, the trees blowing as the leaves scratched against each other, and the snake lying in front of her. She went to one of the trees to find a stick. She then crouched down to admire what was in front of her. As she loosend the stick in her hand, she poked the lower half of the snake. It wouldn't move. She did it again. No sign of movement. Mikaela started becoming inpatient, she threw the stick and glared at the snake. She hesitantly touched the upper half of the snake with her bare hands to see what would happen. " What's wrong? Why won't you move? " She asked,  as she started to run her pointer finger down it's body. She then felt a twich. The snake seemed to have slid through her finger than her petting it. In a fast motion, she jumped back and landed on her back, close to her tailbone." O-ow" She yelped, as got back up and looked down. It was gone. Her eyes glared at the ground. She looked around where she was standing. She spotted something moving. Mikaela focused on the moving object, as she got closer she found the snake again." Hah! Found you! " She said excitingly. She paused for a moment before making the decision that she wanted to hold it. She had two different sides of her saying that she should but she also shouldn't. The one that she should pick it up won the debate. Mikaela stepped forward a couple of inches to where the snake was. She couldn't clearly see it because it was mostly covered in bright green grass,  but she managed to figure out where it was. Her hand finally reached out to make sure it's there, and she started to gently pet it again. She wanted to make sure it was comfortable first, or at least a bit comfortable enough for her to hold it. She softly grabbed the middle of the snake and lifted it up for her free hand to cup under it.

        She took a deep breath and kept going, the snake started to move, and wiggle." Shh shh, it's okay it's okay. Don't be scared. " She silently said, not just to the snake but to herself. She slowly moved the snake into her hands,  and sighed of relief. " I-i can't believe it. " She said in between her sighs. She gazed closely at the snake as it moved in between her fingers. The feel of the smooth scales slitherying on her skin, the patterns on the snake that she's never seen before, she admired every part of its body. Studying its eyes, and it's body's movements. "... Wow... " She said as her eyes sparkled at the satisfaction she would never lose.

Alright! This chapter is done! I really like this chapter because itll lead to a really important and good part in this story!! I did this kinda late at night right now. I just finished k-prep so thank fucking god!! 😂 hope you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more! 😁
