Tony? Steve?

The storm

Rhodey asked steve for his phone, the special phone. The one with Tony's number. Steve just simply give him the phone without asking questions. Which made him furious in a way. "Do you even care if tony it's alive?" Snap Rhodey. And Steve glassy eyes looks at Rhodey, surprise for his outburst. Soon enough, Steve looked back down, not making eye contact.

"I already called him thirteen times" said Steve, even tho you can still hear the 'captain America' tone in him. He was whispering, as if he needed a lot of energy to speak. "He is not answering"

"Wow you actually care" said Rhodey.

"Please don't"

Rhodey couldn't get angry at this Steve, it was so easy to be angry at him a few weeks ago but now....now he feels like the asshole. "I'm sorry" Said Rhodey not waiting for an answer and continue walking out of the way. He stared dialing his number and let it ring. He didn't answer, he called again. He didn't answer. Why  he is not answering his calls? Rhodey it's starting to get anxious. His best friend it's not answering his fucking calls, no matter what phone he uses, just like pepper. Maybe he should just accepted. Tony is- *phone ringing* -Alive!
Rhodey answer his call, it doesn't comes from Steve's phone. It's his. "Tony?"

"Rhodey?!?" Tony sounded desperate and anxious.

"Ok tony you need to relax"

"Pepper it's gone Rhodey" Said tony, his voice breaking. He could hear a sob. Rhodey insults himself for not being there when tony needed him the most. "I don't know what to do"

"Tony ok! Hear me out!" Said Rhodey "I need you to hear me I have the coordinates for wakanda. This place it's where I'm staying right now and you need to come too!"

"Ok..."

"Alright!" Said rhodey. "Are you hurt?"

"No..." said tony and hung up. Rhodey was surprise he hung up. He just stare at the phone in disbelief.

"Did you just hung up on me you piece of shi-"

"I'm here" Said Tony "I just needed to help this, blue girl with the ship. You know, where we suppose to go next."

"Oh" Said rhodey. He could hear tony chuckle.

"What were you going to say?"

"Nothing" Said rhodey but happy to hear him in a more happy tone. "Just come as fast as you can....did you just said blue girl?"

"It's a long story"

"Got it! Tell me all about it when you come here" Said rhodey and with that they said their goodbyes.

Rhodey waited for him, he didn't felt like telling anyone about his arrival, he was afraid that it might get complicated. Black widow was trying to call tony too, but he didn't answer. He could see in Nat's eyes the panick, the guilt. Rhodey felt wrong for not telling them. Until Shuri said "there is an unknown ship crossing our borders!!"

Rhodey knew it was him, but when he saw the ship. It didn't look like nothing tony had made before. He doubted it was then. But he did said a blue girl, so maybe that's the blue girl's spaceship. Because of what just happen a few hours ago, the people of wakanda stared get around the ship, and the spaceship finally land on wakanda. The avengers (or what's left of them) were in combat position. Waiting for the new threat to come out. Waiting for the worst, Steve...he was different. He had a gun in his hand, pointing directly at the door of the ship. Waiting patiently, his eyes cold and ready for battle. Like he always is. The door stared open, Steve takes a step back, still with the gun up.

"show yourself" Said Steve. "Or I'll make you"

"A gun?" Steve could recognize that voice anywhere. For a couple of months he was waiting for this asshole to finally call him. But he never did. But Steve believed he was dead, he didn't answer his calls...unless he did that on purpose. This idiot it's alive! He didn't mind to let us know he was still here are you fucking kidding me? Steve doesn't know what to do if punch him or hug him. "So you went from the shield to the gun..."
