(A/N): This takes place before season 2. I haven't watched season 2 and who knows if I ever will, but yes. It's been a while since I've last saw Durarara, so feel free to correct me although some of it will be on purpose for the story. Enjoy~

"Shizuo." You moaned his name into his ear. "Do you love me?" Your eyes hold pure love while his gaze drops to your lips. "Shizuo?" You called again. The sound of his name makes him shudder. There is only you on his mind. Your chest heaves during an intimate moment. Both bodies pressed against each other as one hovers over the other. Your words are suddenly no longer audible to him. You mouth his name as another voice replaces yours.

"Shizuo!"

The vague memory of you fades in an instant as reality sets him into the present.

"Yo, are you alright? I've been trying to get your attention for the longest." Tom said.

"I'm fine just daydreaming." He coughed, choking from a bad drag. Tom raises a curious brow as he leads him to their next destination.

"Oh yeah? What about?" He prodded. Most people wouldn't dare tease Shizuo for fear of losing a limb, but given how close the two are, Tom is an exception. He was willing to risk it for the sake of avoiding awkward silence.

"It was just a memory." He paused attempting to pinpoint the meaning. " Or maybe a dream?"

Tom can see the cogs turning in the blonde's head struggling to decipher something unimportant. Being the good person he is, helps untangle the mystery. "Care to clarify?"

"It was some girl in my arms."

Tom's cheeks grow a rosy color assuming he understood where it was going. "It sounds like a lewd dream."

"Sort of." Shizuo gazes at the sky. He didn't understand why it bothered him not why it popped up. "It feels familiar."

"It could be one of those times you get black out drunk with no recollection of what you did." Tom theorized.

"That's probably it." A brief flash of your smile enters, haunting the man enough to stop him in his tracks.

Tom looks over his shoulders, "hurry up, man. We need to hit the next block sometime today."

Shizuo flicks what's left of his cigarette into a puddle before catching up. "What's the rush? I'm sure the scum bag will still be at home when we get there to surprise him."

"Actually, this one isn't job related. We're making a quick stop at the airport. A cousin of mine will be staying with me for a job exchange. I promised I'd pick her up."

"Here in Ikebukero?" Shizuo queried, insinuating the insane amount of crime with gangs and underground factions.

Tom sheepishly rubs the back of his head and says, "I know. I warned her of the dangers, but she insisted on coming over. She always was a stubborn one." He looks up at the blonde as he relays a bit more information. "She used to attend high school with us. Only for freshman year before her family moved to the U.S."

"She did?"

"Yep! Although, you probably never met her as since you were too busy being hospitalized from all the fights. Plus she had this after school program so she left early during her last period." Tom explained. It was nice to see his friend in a happier mood than usual. He was a lot more talkative and less chance for Shizuo to say anything.

"May be that was it." He agreed.

The two wait outside the airport for an hour. The plane had arrived twenty minutes ago, yet there is no sign of you. Tom has apprehensively checking the time every now, and then. "Where in the hell is this girl?" Tom grumbled. "We could have completed three jobs by now."

"Would it be wrong if we came back another time while we do our rounds?" Shizuo suggested.

"At this point, I feel bad but I think it's best-"

"To ditch your guest?" A voice speaks up. Both men turn around to face you wearing a cheeky smile. Tom beams rushing up to give you a nice big hug. Shizuo, on the other hand, is left in shock as though witnessing a ghost. More than that he saw it. The halo and wings appearing behind you. A stunning woman standing before him. You hug Tom back and pull away.

"Hello, beautiful. Long time no see."

"Same to you handsome." You chirped. You glance over to Shizuo who is easy to spot with his height and bleached hair.

"Shizuo this is my cousin (Y/n). (Y/n) this is my body guard Shizuo." The blonde unintentionally drops his gaze to your lips recognizing it's shape along with the rest of your features. You share similar characteristics like the girl in his dream. No, a memory. This only confirms you are not a fantasy but instead a reality. The question is why.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Shizuo."

Even the way you say his name oddly causes a cold shiver down his spine. Who are you? When did you both meet? All these questions with no answers. Perhaps you were a one night stand? Regardless, there wasn't enough time to process as introductions are in order.

"Hi." He curtly said trying to keep his intrusive thoughts at bay. However, Shizuo was never one to beat around the bush. "Have we met? You look familiar."

To his surprise you answer, "I feel the same way, but I haven't been here since I was in high school."

His brows furrow, perplexed as a one night stand is crossed out. As he accepts the new possibility of meeting prior, the dream before, your face finally clear in his mind, yet there was more. Everything came flooding together like a thousand bricks falling on top of him. You weren't just anybody. You were his ex-girlfriend.

"Come on, (Y/n). Let me take you home." Tom said. Shizuo follows behind never taking his eyes of you. Because you were the love of his life at some point. The only woman who truly loved him, only you don't remember, and for the first time in a long time. His heart constricted into a heartache.
