We walked out of the forrest and headed towards the main boardwalk. It was a really great day, there were loads of people on the boardwalk and we could hear hundreds of people's voices from the water park.
I knew the perfect place, when I first applied for my job here at love~love Paradice I originally applied for cashier at this adorable little ocean themed cafe. Once I had enough experience I left the job and got one working as an assistant for guy and other higher employees. I'm pretty close with the other workers there so I know it'll be a good place to hang out at.
Arms still linked I held the door open for Teony and she gave me a small smile. "Why thank you~" we both giggle and walk up to the front counter. "I'll have a trim white capachino please." Teony looks at me with an astounded look. "Wow, I was about to say lets have a look at the menu but ok." I feel myself blush in embarrassment. "Eh, sorry. I used to work here so I know what drink I like. I always get the same thing because I know I'll enjoy it." She looks at me with a puzzled sad look. "Well that's no fun. Do you like cinnamon?" "What?" what does that have to do with anything? "I said do you like cinnamon?" She was serious. "Yes.."
Before I could even ask a question she reorded. "I'll have one cinnamon mocha-chino and one chocolate flat white please." "That'll be $11.70 please." Teony handed over her card before I could even think of taking out my wallet. "No Teony you don't have to I-" "No, it's ok. I offered to take you so it's my treat." She looked at me with a genuine smile that warmed my heart and made me smile back at her. She looked into my eyes once again before taking my hand, and leading me to a table next to this big open tank. We sat down in two chairs opisit each other.
"So how long have you been working here at the park?" I look up at Teony away from my drink. "It's been about 6 months since I got the job, but I've only been Guy's assistant for about a month.
