The Four Swordsman

Ch 2 :The rise of the sin of pride

Everyone was back to their usual businesses ,it was as if the recent events did not take place ,it was so because the people of Ashery were used to such weather phenomena. It is said that the king possessed a sword called Restrain which subjugated everyone to his rule.

When the Sage came out of the castle he started looking for his apprentice Ken who was busy sightseeing, it took him an hour or so to find him

"I'm afraid we are going to war soon Ken so stop your childish acts you are my apprentice so act like one" the sage said these words looking directly in the boys eyes

Ken was a very handsome young fella who was probably in his early twenties, he had a tattoo of a tiger on his left shoulder and he was wearing rags since his master was poor ,they were mere farmers. He had black hair and his pupil were red. When he was told this by his master he looked at his feet because the old man was like his father. The young man was left under the care of the old man when he was only an infant,his father was also an apprentice of the old man and he died  during the sealing of the sin of greed,his baby was born nine months after his death and the name was given to him by his mother who died after giving birth to him .

A gust of wind blew pass them towards the castle, those who were powerful enough could see that it was not wind but a man riding a green horse.

"Master what is that " asked Ken

His master did not answer him  all he could do was pull his hand and rush to the castle. It took them  an hour or so for them to reach the throne room for the old man was too old to run

In the throne room a man wearing a gold amour adorned with many minerals stood in front of the king ,his eyes were dark green  He was a knight with no sword yet he stood boldly at the present of the king and his mages and knights

He took a deep breath and looked around the throne room as if he was called to look at it and he said" home at last I miss my throne "

After saying these words he called his sword "Restrain come" the sword came to life and changed its colour to dark green everyone was shivering after touching the sword the whole room started to change color into green it was as if his powers were returning to him. He licked his sword and caress it as if it was a human or his lover. He started to walk towards the the throne

The king  said to his knights with a voice full of rage "what are you waiting for kill that monster and give me back my sword ,its mine and mine alone"

The knights attacked the monster they were told to attack but it was useless they tried their best but the power he possessed was monstrous ,mages started casting different spells but it was useless he was way too strong. The one sided slaughter continued until only two knights and five mages were left.

He then stopped and said "I am Zalla the greed, I have come for my kingdom " ,after saying this he made a very swift attack and this was intended to kill the king surprisingly the sword was blocked by a young boy

"That's enough Zalla you had your revenge now go back to your prison" said the Sage who was behind Zalla

"Hello too old friend you have aged I miss you too" Zalla replied grinning ,'you know you can be my right man "he started to laugh

Ken who had blocked the sword of Zalla began to attack furiously Zalla could only block,he was on defense for sometime until he heard a spell being enchanted,with one attack he knocked Ken out and focused on the spell which was being enchanted

"Restrain awake" he said this pointing his sword on the dead bodies and all the dead knights and mages were resurrected and they attacked the Sage.

Restrain the sword of Zalla was one of the sword forged by the demon king and its power was resurrection and total control. Restrain was created for Zalla to create soldiers for the demon king ,the undead soldiers,the power of  Restrain was fearsome.

Sage destroyed the knights with one attack but he seemed too exhausted such that he started to stagger. The power he wield was greater than his age ,the name sage was given to him in his peak years were he was powerful to an extent he was made a royal mage by Zalla when he was only  a young boy,his staff which was made by the goddess of light and wisdom was a strong weapon if the user was with weak it drains his or her life force .

"My friend you see,mortality is a weakness I will grant you eternal power" said Zalla whilst extending his hand to offer his friend salvation

"I wish I could accept that old friend but we will destroy the world return to us Zalla you are a great king and a loving father please" replied Sage

Zalla laughed for some time and then he started to walk towards his friend pointing his blade towards him and said "its over old friend,Restrain sepernt " after saying that a large snake appeared and it attacked and bite Sage on his left arm ,he tried removing it but it was useless.

All this was in the eyes of Ken who was on the ground struggling to stand. Ken loved Sage with all his heart he was all he had, he was family to him they did not share the same blood but they shared love food and everything. He started to the about all the good things they shared all the arguments they had all the techniques he was taught.

Suddenly the gravity in the room changed everyone and everything was pushed down even Zalla was on his knees his snake was ripped to shreds by the force. Everyone was shocked towards  had an idea of who possessed such power except for Sage

"So the gravity tiger has been unleashed, Zalla you have made a grave mistake by hurting me " he coughed and said," even if you are immortal you will suffer "

Zalla looked at the Ken who was walking towards and as he drew near the pressure increased he like the world was on his shoulders. Ken picked up a sword and attacked Zalla but he sword was blocked by three knights who were resurrected by Zalla.

Prophecy has it that when the sin of greed rise the sin of pride will also rise ,a few people knew about this and also Sage had too much on his hands such that he did not see a figure which was approaching behind him.

Ken attacked Zalla again and this time he was going to eradicate him and again his blade was blocked and this time by a man wearing a red armor and he blocked it with his bare hands ,and the moment the blade reached his hand it started to melt and after the blade melted Ken was hit with a flame fist which created a hole on his stomach. This happened very fast that no one could react fast.

"Ken!!!!..." Shouted Sage rushing to Ken who had just fall down

" I am Zak the sin of pride and in 3 years time the whole world will be under our control and anyone who stands in our way will be destroyed the true king will return " after saying this the two sins vanished

The king became unconscious because of what he saw and heard ,and also because of the change of gravity caused by Ken and also the change in temperature caused by Zak. These conditions can make a normal person insane.
