In Love With My Boss (YugixYami)

Part 1

Yugi's Pov

I groaned softly to the alarm going of on my nightstand pulling my pillow over my head trying to ignore the ringing in my ears but to no avail. I really don't feel like getting up but just to stop the ringing I slowly started getting up yawning as I turned the alarm off finally giving my ears a break. I slowly got up groaning from how early it was and went to take a refreshing shower to help me wake up. Once I was done I put on my work close going downstairs making myself some toast for breakfast. After eating I cleaned up my kitchen and went out locking the door behind me and slowly drove off to work.

I work at the biggest and most successful gaming corporation ever the SennenCorp. I'm secretary to none other than the famous Yami Sennen the hottest and most famous business man in the world. I have been working there for a year now and even though I'm just a secretary I'm enjoying it a lot I get to work with so many successful businesses including KaibaCorp itself since we're in business with Seto Kaiba. I have slowly started catching feelings for my boss..no matter how hard I try I just can't seem to shake the feeling away, he's just so kind and amazing and always there to help me whenever I need it that I just slowly fell for him. Uhhh..

Parking in my usual spot I stepped out and slowly entered the massive building standing just mere meters from me. The walls around were always clean and surrounded with old and new game posters.. chatting was heard all around as employees entered and left rooms in a hurry always wanting to meet the bosses deadlines while people's reflections could be seen on the floor tiles as they rushed around. Walking up to the reception I greeted everyone as I signed in and hoped on the elevator going up to the bosses level.

I hoped out the elevator walking towards my desk sinning in to my computer and getting everything ready for the day. Today is a very busy day as Yami has many meetings to attend due to today being the deadline of the new game we've all been working on. I've seen trailers and even tried out the game myself due to me being Mr.Sennens secretary he always lets me tryout them and the game is absolutely amazing I would even buy it myself if it wasn't too expensive. Not noticing the time I saw the elevator door open thinking it was the boss I stood up but noticed a glimpse of Joeys yellow bangs indicating it was Kaiba.. never seen Kaiba coming to a meeting early unless they planned to meet up before.

"Morning Joey morning Mr. Kaiba I'm sorry to inform you that Mr. Sennen has not arrived yet" Kaiba scuffs and sits down on one of our chairs.

"Not surprised my cousin isn't really one to be on time even though it was his idea and please Yugi call me Kaiba" his eyes avert towards me for a split second then back to Joey.

"S-sorry I always forget an-" Joey completely interrupts me lunging his arms around my shoulders.

"Yug we should really hangout we haven't had one of those in ages your always so busy"

"I'm sorry Joey it's been chaotic here with everyone trying to meet Yami's deadline but I promise on my next day off we'll hangout"

"Love I've told you many times to not interrupt people so rudely" Kaiba said as Joey just started spouting words at him as I giggled the elevator once again opening its doors revealing a rather tired Yami walking out looking at us.

"Morning Mr. Sennen I've got the papers that you asked for here and ready" walking up to him I hand him all the paperwork as he takes it smiling softly.

"Thank you Yugi but please call me Yami I've told you before" he ruffled my hair softly smiling my cheeks slowly turning red as he walks towards his office "C'mon Seto let's go and get this over with"

Turning my gaze towards my computer again as they both head inside my cheeks still red from Yami's words and actions and no matter how hard I tried to make it go away it just seemed to get worse. I don't know what to do about these feelings, he's my boss and I don't wanna ruin the friendship we have by telling him I like him. My fingers strolled around the keyboard as I wrote on my computer working on some stuff my mind completely filled with confusion not letting me completely concentrate as I kept messing up. My hands slowly curl up as I bang them on the table, Joey who was completely distracted jumping of the chair from the sudden bang in his ears.

"S-sorry Joey I didn't mean to startle you"

"You alright Yug it's not normal for you to space out or be distracted during work" sighing softly my eyes went back to my screen back to work.

"Yes Joey I'm alright, again sorry for startling you"

Hours passed as I finally finished the paperwork sighing in relief resting myself on my chair smiling softly. Picking up my book I scrolled around the pages checking over todays list making sure everything was in order. Minutes later Yami and Seto walked out of the office still talking Joe  completely distracted on his phone.

"Me and Seto are going out for lunch in like an hour or so, would u like to come Yugi" i looked over at Yami surprised from his invite.

"I-I don't wanna be a bother"

"Your not a bother Yugi, besides Joe is going too and we should definitely celebrate the launch of the new game" he walked over to me handing me a letter before slowly walking to the elevator with Seto and Joe "I'm going to my meeting and then ill come and get you so be ready"

They all went off leaving a blushing me behind staring at the elevator holding the envelope he handed to me holding it close to my chest not really knowing how to react. Maybe i should just tell him.. but what if it ruins our friendship.. my head was spiraling over and over about all the possibilities that could happen if i tell him about my feelings. Sitting down in my chair i stare at my computer for what felt like hours until i am brought back to reality by Yami not realizing that i had actually been staring at the screen for two hours.

"Yugi you okay there" i look up at Yami slowly as he stood in front of my desk

"Y-yeah I'm ok why do u ask"

"Because I've been calling out your name for a while, you seemed to be lost in your thoughts" my face slowly started feeling hot from embarrassment as i struggle to get me words out

"I-I'm s-sorry Yami I-I didn't m-mean to i-ignore you" damn my stuttering

Soft chuckles could be heard from Yami as he looked down at me, his arm slowly reaching out towards me, my eyes locked on his actions as he slowly runs his fingers through my hair ruffling it as he usually does, my cheeks slowly turning red from the blushing that's creeping in from his actions. His hands have always been so soft and kind around me, i have always felt safe and secure in his arm and i wish i could just stay in them forever. Our eyes slowly lock together staring at each other for what felt like eternity, my blushing just getting worse and worse by the minute holding myself back from kissing him.
