" I...." I hesitated for a moment. Afraid and scared. I did'nt know how to answer. I just stared at his crystal blue eyes.
"Well?" he asked irritated, while raising his eye brow.
"Ok!" I thought to myself. " Evangeline! Hold it together!" I took a deep breath and gazed at his sparking eyes. They were so beautiful.
"I..I...love you and I didn't know that I did....but it is clear to me...that I have always loved you. Every time I've tried to fall for a guy..I'd close my eyes and all I saw was you" I calmly stated and grabbed his hand. "So yes I have a past but every moment, it contains you..everything that I am ..belongs to you" I finally replied.
His delicate eyes lowered away from me. We were silent for the longest time. The shining sun began to grow dimmer and the sky turned into an orange pinkish color. The waves of the lake crashed lightly against the rocky shore. A gentle breeze blew my black shiny hair away from my fair green eyes.
" Say something." I pleaded softly. Still no answer.
A buzz came from his cell phone. He took it from his pocket. " It's my mom...I must go." I nodded.
He let go of my hand. Lifted himself onto his bike, ready to go, but before he did, he said. " I'm sorry that I didn't talk but I do care."
I bowed my head in shame. Tears were streaming down my rosy cheeks. "I've been incredibly stupid."
"You told me the truth and I asked for it, without shame, I'll will admire you always." He responded looking back at me.
" I love you" I cried biting my lip.
"I know!" he said and left.
