Love is Blind

I rolled my eyes as I sat lazily on the couch with my best friend watching the movie, "Titanic"

"I"ll never let go!" Rose cried as she let go of Jack's hand.

"Just wow!" I thought. " If I was Rose, I would totally make some room for Jack on that piece of floatie that she's on and we can live happily ever after!!!....but nooooo she is too stupid to realize that." I was kinda mad at Rose for not thinking straight but then again, it was sad to watch.''

" This is the saddest part!" My friend, Cat said who got out a box of tissues and wipe her eyes with it.

My best friend, Cathrine Grace Andersion has been my friend since kindergarden. She has always been there for me when I'm sad or going through a hard time. She would liestian to me, no matter what. She would keep her word if I told her a secret. I could'nt ask for a better friend. She is a red headed with bright saphire eyes. I call her "Cat" for short.

" TWEET!" TWEET!" went off her phone. She grabbed her phone excitely. She smiled at the text showing red in her cheeks.

"Your boyfriend?" I assume and arch an eyebrow at her. She nodded and began texting away. I sighed.

Truthfully I never dated a guy before, I mean yeah I do have crushes on guys but never dated one. I mean I'm not afraid dating a guy, it's just that dating in high school seems pointless and stupid.

To my point of view, it's just the same old thing over and over. Two people become friends And they start to liked each other then maybe a few months later, the guy ask her on a date. Few weeks are good, maybe 1 to 2 months go by and suddenly they broke up for reasons. The guy likes another girl or they have issues at home. Then their relationship fall apart. I mean I never get the part when two couples say " I love you!" Then suddenly it's all gone. Besides all guys just think about one thing and girls don't think about it until they get it. I mean let's be practical, love is blind and true love has ran out of the door.

" Someday I'll find a guy who is true and good hearted" I thought to myself and sighed.
