Whilst going through files at her uncle's post office, her heart leaped at the sight of the man again.
The bell had rung and he waltzed in with a beaming smile.

He had a brief greeting with her uncle and without warning, the clicking feeling came again.
Was she a creep for taking pictures of this man like that?

Her uncle noticed the stare Yeongmi was giving them and seized the opportunity with sudden charisma.
"Have you met my wonderful niece, Yeongmi?"

Yeongmi froze as he looked at her, she thought he would be disgusted yet instead his bright smile did not falter.
"I'm afraid I haven't, nice to meet you Yeongmi-ssi. I'm Jimin."

Yeongmi bowed her head politely before averting her gaze.
She had this weird sensation in her eyes which she wasn't used to yet.

Her uncle, however, had other plans, telling Jimin that he would fetch some packages in the storage room that needed delivering to the local townspeople.
He left the two alone in the quaint, little office, silently urging the anxious Yeongmi.

"So, what do you do Yeongmi-ssi?"
Jimin questioned and she had to get her thoughts in control.

"I'm currently studying in university, I'm planning on getting a part-time job here actually."
Jimin's eyes lit up with happiness, the type that could not be faked.

"That'd be great, we would be able to see each other more often."
That genuine comment had Yeongmi blush— and unknowingly take a picture of his smile.

"Jimin-ssi, if you don't mind me asking, what do you take pictures of?"

Jimin chuckled before replying with the sky, his grin becoming wider.
That statement alone made Yeongmi envious and insecure.

She loves the different hues the sky would bring and if Jimin could take pictures of the sky that meant he could take pictures of the stars, the clouds and the lightning.
That sounded amazing to Yeongmi.

But she could do nothing.

"Um... Yeongmi-ssi? Are you okay?"
He asked, which brought her back to an even more painful reality.

She had unknowingly teared up and her bottom lip was trembling.
She felt worthless and weak.

It was like a massive piece of rope latched itself around her chest and kept tightening around her.
The chaos of whizzing thoughts taunted her again.

"I'm-I'm so sorry—"
She exclaimed, before running out of the building without any warning.

Leaving Jimin completely in the dark.
