Gut's POV

It has been 5 months 3 weeks and 2 days since Griffith has returned. To know that bastard is still alive and well makes every Battle scar on my body ache. When he first returned from his slumber I was hell bent on hunting him down, but I soon realized I was being irrational and to take out my former leader I would have to be the exact opposite. I have been keeping tabs on his progress 'til now. He has successfully taken over 15 small villages and 3 Major villages that contained most of the kingdom's trading bases. With the small group that accompanies me, I am currently searching the area for his exact whereabouts. This is the easiest part thanks to the sacrificial mark I can sense his demonic presence once I'm within a certain amount of meters of  him. Not only can I sense him, he can sense me as well but knowing Griffith he would only see me seeking him out as measly entertainment and not budge an inch from his current location. We will use that to our advantage of course. Keeping in mind that my limbs have been restored by the witch that lived in the forest before the attack led by some of his demon underlings,we know that this will also come as a surprise to him seeing as though my left arm and right eye were taken by a beast he controlled and this will also be used as an advantage.

"This way" I said pointing deeper into the forest. Taking the nearby by roads would be too dangerous considering he has his ghouls patrolling the area. I could tell we were getting closer because of the tingling sensation I felt on my neck where the mark was located.

Puck:Hey Guts! I'm not saying I don't trust your tingling bruise or anything but are you suurree he is this way?

"Yes. I'm sure he's this way but if your not up to being on this wild goose chase then feel free to head back to the village" I said in a sarcastic tone while speeding up my pace.

Puck:Nooo that wasn't what I was saying at all but the sun is going down and who knows what kind of creepy crawlers are around this part of the Kingdom

Isidro:Sounds to me like you're scared puck!!!

Puck:I am no such thing kid so mind your business

We left Casca and the others back in town to guard what was left of the previous village there were many casualties but not many deaths. I urged them to continue with the search but they insisted on helping that village so I continued without them I'm sure they'll be fine...

Isidro:What did I tell you about calling me a kid you pest

Puck:I'm not a pest you big good for nothing crybaby

Isidro: Why didn't you just stay with the others and who are you calling a Crybaby!?!

Puck:Because me and Guts are partners you're just a Si...

"Sshhhh!!! We're here..." I said extending my arm to block the buffoons from going further

Narrator Pov
Just as they arrived at the base of Griffith's main force Guts noticed him walking out of a tent with what appeared to be a basin with a towel hanging out of it followed by a little girl...they followed Griffith being careful to not get spotted by an enemy. Griffith and the Girl stopped in front of a lake.

Isidro: Griffith! That perverted bastard is he really going to force that girl into doing bad things? (He asked with a twisted smile on his face)

Puck: You're sick!!! She's obviously trying to tell him something

Guts: Shut Up!

Both Puck and Isidro had gone silent...the three of them listened as the girl conversed with Griffith
