I. Am. SORRY! I feel terrible for keeping you guys waiting but I hope it was worth it. Also a shout to my friend Aj for helping me with this chapter! I probably wouldn't have finished it without them to be honest lol. I know it's a bit of a lengthy one, but bear with me. This was originally gonna be much longer but I decided to split it into two parts. I also apologize for all the weird updates from wattpad, it keeps posting and reposting and deleting and whatnot. But this should be the correct update. That being said,
Please Enjoy, my sweets,

Harry woke the next morning in the happiest of moods. He dressed in a daze, before looking up to notice Hedwig sitting just outside the window. He then remembered that he had sent Hedwig out the night before to wait outside the bookshop in Diagon Alley, with a note attached to a bag of gallons telling the shop owner to send whatever the newest book was back with Hedwig to Hogwarts before breakfast the next morning. He made his way over to the window and let her in and relieved her of the parcel.
"Thank you Hedwig," He said. She in return nibbled his finger in affection. He turned around, having heard sheets rustling from a nearby bed.
"What's that?" Ron asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
Harry felt his cheeks flush warm as he ran a hand through the hair at the nape of his neck.
"Oh, uh, I, maybe, didn't finish my essay, so I got 'Mione a book to make up for it...hopefully," He said.
"Who fucked who?" Seamus asked, having heard their conversation.
"Seamus!" Ron snapped.
"Sorry mate, I'm just curious, " the Irishman returned with a shrug.
Ron decided to ignore him and turned to look at Harry.
"Well, I'm sure it didn't get that far, right Harry?" He asked.
"Not quite that far, but we definitely got, er... distracted," Harry answered, looking down to where his feet were shuffling back and forth, his face bright red.
"Good for you mate," Seamus said, walking over clapping him on the shoulder.
"Ok!"
Both boys turned to see Ron halfway stuck under his bed trying to find his tie. He re-emerged moments later with it clutched in his fist.
"I'm officially shutting this conversation down. Let's go down to breakfast Harry, the sooner you give Hermione that book, the better the chances are of your ass not getting kicked." Ron said.
Harry turned to follow him out the door.
"Yeah, you're probably right, mate," He chuckled.

The two boys made their way down to the great hall talking upcoming Quidditch matches, and what Ron was planning on getting Hermione for Christmas.
"You do know that Christmas is months from now, right?" Harry said, very amused.
"Yes, but I don't know what to get her. I don't want to get her a ton of books, she can get books whenever she wants, " Ron said, pointing to the book in Harry's hand.
"Maybe you should get her a nice piece of jewelry, and engrave something special on it, " Harry said.
"That's a pretty good idea mate... it's definitely better than Seamus' suggestion anyway, " Ron blushed.
Harry face scrunched up in amusement as he stopped and turned to face his friend.
"You weren't seriously gonna take gift advice from pantie clause were you?"
"No! Well... not this year at least, " Ron admitted.
"You dirty bastard, " Harry laughed, playfully punching Ron in the shoulder.
Harry suddenly felt as if someone was watching him. He had a hunch as to who it was. After turning to look over to Slytherin's table his suspicion was confirmed. He made sure no one was was watching them and smirked at his boyfriend, winking as he continued walking to his usual spot at the Gryffindor table.

"Whats that you've got there Harry?" Hermione asked. He then slid the book across the table.
   "For you." He smiled.
Hermione raised one eyebrow and squinted.
   "Why?" She asked.
Harry turned his head down, embarrassed.
"I, might, have not finished my essay last night. I promise I worked on it, b-but I got, er, distracted, " he drawled.
"Harry Potter. I never thought you the type of person to bribe. Though this has helped you immensely...don't think you're off the hook," she said with a wink.
Harry tentatively looked up.
"Go easy on me?" he teased.
   "Not a chance." Hermione laughed.
Ron decided to take up a new topic for conversation.
"So, you and Malfoy huh? Have to be honest I didn't see that one coming. I knew you were obsessed with him, but I didn't think it was because you loved him," Ron said, laughing. Harry looked down, trying to hide the blush that was coloring his cheeks.
A awkward silence fell over them when Harry didn't give a response. After a minute or two Harry looked up to see Ron staring at him. Realization, and a hint of mischief shown through his eyes.
"You actually love him, don't you?" Ron said, awed.
Harry seemed torn for a second before he shrugged.
"I think I do?" He said.
"I've certainly never felt this way about anyone before, " He admitted.
Ron folded his arms as he sat back on the bench, smirking.
"Bloody hell, never did I thi-" But he suddenly stopped.
Harry looked at him with nothing but confusion.
"What?" Hermione glared. But Ron has locked eyes with Harry. As well as sporting a wicked grin. He stood before turning in the direction of the Slytherins.
"Hey Malfoy! Harry's got something to tell you!" He yelled.
"NO HE DOESNT!" Harry shrieked, frantically trying to slip under the table. He looked up to see Ron doubled over laughing. Draco, on the other hand, was looking at him quite confused. Harry didn't stay long enough to see what else would happen, as he jumped and ran out the doors.

Classes were about to start before Ron and Hermione found him again. They rounded a corner and saw him from across the hall, wiping his eyes as he left the boys bathroom.
"His eyes are red," Ron said.
"And his lips have gone puffy," Hermione added.
She turned to see Ron looking at her confused.
"What? His lips puff up when he's cried. Which, by the way, is all your fault." She turned back to look at Harry.
"You've gone and embarrassed him, the poor thing."
They watched as Harry slowly made his way over to them, stopping just in front of them. His eyes trained on the floor. His voice was very hoarse as he spoke.
"Please, not another word of this until tonight in the common room? I promise to talk about it then, ok?"
He looked up when he felt a hand press to his shoulder. Hermione was giving him a reassuring smile.

The rest of the day came and went without much fanfare. As they were walking to their last class of the day, Potions, Harry felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around, seeing Draco standing there grinning at him.
"Hi, Scarhead." He said.
"Hello? What do you want Malfoy?" Harry returned.
"Now now, we needn't be short with our words." Draco admonished.
Harry just continued to look at him confused. He didn't understand what Draco was doing.
   "So, Harry," He continued.
Harry raised an eyebrow.
"Draco?"
"I was wondering if you'd like to perhaps put this silly fued behind us, and start over?"
Draco brought his hand out to mimic his attempt from first year.
Harry looked down before meeting his eyes with Dracos. He felt himself begin to smile.
"Harry Potter, will you be my friend?" Draco finished, winking.
Harrys smile widened before grabbing Draco's hand and slowly shaking it.
"Friends, " he agreed.
Everyone around them watched the scene with astonishment. Not used to seeing the two acting so civil to each other.
Hermione suddenly grinned and pushed Harry forward.
"Oh, get a room you two," she laughed.

Harry's eyes widened as he started to fall, his hand still locked with Draco's. They collapsed to the floor in a tangled heap. Draco pinned beneath Harry, his hips being straddled by Harry's legs. Their hands were still connected, pinned to the floor above Draco's head. They looked at each other in shock, before letting slip an awkward laugh.
Neither noticed that Snape had arrived to let the class into the classroom.
"Care to explain whatever is going on here?" Snape said, glaring at the scene before him.
Both boys tried to get up as fast as they could, but ended up tripping on their robes as they went.
Harry tried to explaining to his professor.
   "Please sir, we were pu-"
But Snape was quick to interrupt him.
"No excuses Potter, you have detention effective immediately."
Draco looked over at Harry as he'd hung his head. He decided that this just wasn't fair.
"Honestly professor, we were pushed." He said.
Snape turned to look at him before responding.
"I've grown to expect something like this from Potter, but I wouldn't have expected this from you, Mr. Malfoy. I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you detention as well, as a lesson in learning to hold your tongue."
Draco scoffed with a hand at his chest, flabbergasted.

Without another word Snape led both boys into his office.
