Namjoon was softly caressing the flower. 'Softly' until he thought he killed it. The poor flower snapped at his touch. He froze, hand still up, eyes wider than ever and his face almost as pale as Yoongi.

He slowly looked to his right to see Jin walking up to him.

"Hyung I'm-"

"Pfft don't worry. I'll just get a new one. You can keep that one, I'll show you how to take care of it." Jin said sitting down.

"I saw this orchids on your notebook, before you took it away. From what I managed to read this were the most important to you. I thought filling the place with them might make you feel all warm and fuzzy."

Oh he was feeling warm and fuzzy and it definitely weren't the flowers.

The older started talking again, noticing that there was no response.

"I like succulents and cacti... wanna see my collection?"

Namjoon nodded and Jin signaled him to follow upstairs.

"You live in the shop?" he said walking up the stairs.

"Something like that, but it's really comfy!"

The younger must admit that the simplicity of their humble home was extremely nice. Aesthetically pleasing.

Jin opened a door to his baby blue and white utopia and Namjoon just watched in awe.
His room back home was pastel pink and light grey, same concept as Jin but different colors.

The older excitedly captured Joon's attention.

"Here are my babies!!" he said and Namjoon took a closer look. Afraid to touch them and having them meet the same fate as the orchid downstairs.

"I used to live with my mom.. she loved them. When she passed away recently, I took every one she owned and brought it here. This is what I have left. This and some pretty polaroids." he said walking to his desk. "She was the only one there who understood me.. my dad too! but he lived here. My mom used to tell me not to worry about what others said, and she insisted I wasn't mentally ill when teachers brought up my little blue obsession. She was amazing."  he said smiling and sitting with Namjoon showing him polaroids.

"Is that a blue Volky?" he said pointing to a picture.

"Yes! Oh my god I loved this Volky! My mom used to take me to places, and my dad came along with us sometimes even though they were divorced. It was nice but my mom had to sell it when she lost her job back then."

Even though Jin was smiling brightly with genuine happiness, the younger felt heavy. He felt sorrow inside him and for the first time, he felt the need to open up. The problem was, he didn't know how to do it.

Namjoon put the polaroids aside and stood up, Jin looking at him.

"Thank you hyung." he said placing his notebook on Jin's lap.
Before Jin could talk, Namjoon's lips crashed against his.

The kiss was warm and soft.

Namjoon backed away smiling, and walked out of the room leaving Jin dazed.
