Tinder

Relationships suck.

My name is Danni Cooper. When I look in the mirror after yet another failed date, I see a petite frame, long chestnut hair, and clear green eyes. I'm pretty, or at least I think I am. But every time I try to have a relationship it fails miserably. 

Tinder is my best friend. It gives me more chances to find a person that will finally want to be with me, who will accept me for the person I am. 

"Hannah," I wailed. "I thought Justin was the one." Hannah, my loyal and patient best friend, was sitting next to me on my grey couch as I cried. "It was going so well too! Three weeks, I thought this one would actually work out!" Two weeks had been my longest relationship through high school, this was a new record for me. "I know honey, just let it all out." Hannah said, rubbing my back soothingly. Just then a notification popped up on my phone. Tinder.

"New message from Justin Warner." 

"It's over, you're a rude, snotty brat." I cried. "Justin thinks that I'm a rude, snotty brat!" Hannah looked up from her phone. "Get up, stop crying, fix your make-up, and get changed." I looked up with wide eyes, "Why?" I asked. "Because you're going on a blind date."

I looked down at the outfit Hannah had picked out for me, dark-wash blue jeans, a scarlet long sleeved shirt with a white infinity scarf, paired with some black Uggs. I had pulled my hair into a ponytail and curled it and redone my makeup with a nude lip and subtle wings. I looked good, definitely not how you would expect someone to look after a break up. Hannah had made reservations for us at a local restaurant under the name "Mike Cheng", so I know what to tell the hostess. After doing so, I was led to a two person table with another person sitting there already. As I walked to the table the boy stood up to greet me.  "Hi my name is Mike Cheng." he said shaking my hand excitedly.
