Chapter 15.

Summers POV

I felt kinda bad for lunching him.. oh well!! He really did make me feel better. I wish I felt this happy all day long.

"Alright ate we almost at the tree?" I because I just wanted to go see what the beauty be was talking about. It was nice to be a way from all the drama. Well there wasn't really any drama except for the fact that Caleb thinks I would cheat. Like What?

"Yea we are here, just about 2 more minutes." He said. I just wanna be there and go to the top, and just feel the small breeze hit my skin. And see the city lights and then see the stars, moon, and clouds at night. I'm a night owl and those things keep me sane.

"We are here!" He says waving his arms around in the air like a crazy person.

"Yay!!" I join him and through my arms in the air too.

At the top of the tree

This was absolutely beautiful. The night sky and the city lights were just fantastic. I wish I could stay here forever, and feel the pain go away piece by piece.

"It's wonderful up here." I told him. I honestly wasnt worried about falling down to the floor because if I did, why would it matter right now? 

"Yea I know. When I found this place I was in a depression because some thing happend to my friend. I came up here and it took my pain away piece by piece." Luke just seems like someone who wouldn't be depressed. I mean he is funny and weird. And he is energetic and happy. It's cool.

"Oh. Yea.." I began to have lots and lots of thoughts come back to me. Sad ones. Like ruby. And what happend. And how I miss her. And how I moved away from my friends. And Bella. And Zack. And May... I didn't even notice that a tear came out. And then I began to think about Caleb. Everything was just coming back to me.

"Are you okay?" I heard him but couldn't even answer. I don't know why. As I began to think about Caleb, Ruby, May, Zack, and Bella. This all hurt me so much. That one tear began to turn into crying. Not a lot, just more tears than I was just doing.

"Summer?!" Luke yells so I couldn't finally snap out of it

"Yes?" Finally I snapped out of it. I shake my head

"Are you Okay?" He puts his hand on my thigh. And smiles

"Yea.. I was just thinking about everything that has gone wrong. Like Ruby. And Caleb." I then lean on Lukes shoulder. He wipes away my tears and looks up at me.

"Don't worry about anything. And if Caleb would think that you would cheat, then he is wrong. You wouldn't cheat. I know that you used to like him. I know this. It's okay." My tear suddenly go away from his words. There is no way I like him because I just got over a breakup. But we didn't even date for a week. This makes me sad and frustrated with everything and everyone.

"Thanks. I'm gonna try and forget everything and enjoy the view." I smile and look up at the night sky. It was amazing. Normally you couldn't see the clouds but since the moon is out you can. But the moon and clouds at night time is so beautiful. Then you see the stars twinkling. Then you look slightly down and it's the city lights. Looking at all this made my troubles go away. And made me think about how my last 2 years here will be.

Josh's POV

When Luke took Summer from me it hurt because I was helping her. But maybe she will get her mind off of everything and have fun. I don't know. But I need to go talk to Caleb and see what his issue is.

At Calebs door

I hesitate to knock because what if he goes all off on me? If he does I will stand my ground. I don't even get it. He should have let her tell her side of the story because nothing even happend between us. I knock finally.
