The Runaway

Chapter 7

  Blackness , thats all I see . Screaming and sirens is all I hear . Then I hear a voice and its not any voice , its Emilys voice . I heard her say " I found your brother he is....." . Then I heard a poilce officer scream at her telling her to go . An thats exactly what she did . I feel people pick me up and carefully and gently put me in the back of an ambulance . I hear someone say " Abigal its Grant please be strong and fight please . I cant lose you , I almost lost you once and its not going to happen again . Stay with me please . I love you abigal . "

   Those words where the last words that I heard . Then my heart stopped . It shut down . It was still ,no longer beating . I'm in a field , a sea of never ending flowers . It was amazing , the flowers where all kinds of color not just your normal bold colors . They where pastel colors , the prettiest pastel colors that I have ever seen . I can hear the softest and most gentle sounds . Then all the flowers colors started to fade , the flowers started to disapear , and the sounds faded . I was terrifed to see what would happen next . I thought I was in heaven but it started to look like something else . Not hell but I could see peoples faces crowding around me , they where saying things but I couldnt hear them . I was alive , in the hospital room . I heard people cheering everyone was happy . I sit up and say....

" How did I get back here ? How am I alive ? "

 The doctors move out of the way and I see grant walking threw the crowd of doctors .

'' After the doctors gave up , they started to put the blanket over you head . So snuck in and kept shocking your heart . The doctors caught me and pulled me out of the room and locked the door . They wouldnt let me back in and then thats when you woke up . " he says looking down at the floor .

" I will leave you two alone . " said one of the doctors and then they all left .

" Why did you save me ? " I ask having a flashback of the night before

" Because I would never live with myself if you had died because of one stupid mistake that I made . "

" Aleast now you know you where being stupid . " I say laughing . I was happy that he apologized but I am still kinda mad at him . But part of it was my fault because I got to jealous and I started to scream and yell . This exactly why I hate getting jealous but I never get hit by a car .

 I started to drift asleep . They told me that I had to get sleep so they gave me a sleeping pill . An it worked . A few hours later I woke up , and I saw Grant sleeping . He looks cute when he sleeps , I have absoulty no clue why i think that .

 Four months have passed since the accedent . I havent talked to Grant in about ehh three months . He wasnt happy when I decided to move in back with Emily . But I actually didnt move back in with her .I dont really live anywhere , I wonder the streets of California .

" ABIGAL IS THAT YOU ? " someone yells from across the street .

" Grant? " I whisper . I start walking the other way . I dont him to see me like this . An by this I mean homeless and digusting . I havent taken a shower in two months . I smell like the swer , well thats where I slept one time . Yeah being homeless is no fun and nethier is being a run away .

" ABIGAL! HEY Abigal . What have you been doing ? An why do you smell like the swer ? " he say as he caught up to me and piched his nose trying not to smell the oder .

" Well I am kinda sorta homeless and I slept in the swer one night . " I say looking down at the ground in embarressment . I was really nervous seeing him and all but I was happy to see his face . He hasnt changed one bit . He has the same blonde hair and blue eyes , the same perfection . Then thats when he opened up to me . All I can do is stand there in shock .
