Stone is now running, and my entire vision goes blank. The next thing I know I am on the bed in my room perfectly fine.

"What happened?" I ask out loud though no ones in the room.

Miles walks in, then my dad.

"What's going on Dad?" I try again.

Then he takes out a gun and points it at me.

"Dad what are you doing!" I scream.

His face stays blank and lifeless just like Miles's face.

Then my he wraps his fingers around the trigger as I am crying and shoots.

I wake up in a small peach colored room. I'm not sure where, but once I see Stone I feel safe right away. I must have blacked out and had a nightmare. But how did I get here?

I look at Stone passed out on a chair across the room. He has red bulgy eyes and cheeks where he has been crying. I look down at my stomach where the old woman had stabbed me, and pull up the shirt I had on to see the wound. There were 8 stitches across my stomach where there was once a gap. At that moment my brother wakes up. I see his eyes come to life. I have never seen him so glad to see me before.

"Where am I," I say to him.

"After the woman stabbed you I ran about 12 miles to get you to the Raiders hideout. I knew they would have some sort of hospital type thing."

He pauses for a moment.

"How are you feeling."

"You ran 12 miles with me on your back?" I start to tear up.

"I didn't want to loose you."

"I'm sorry I was being so stupid, I thought she would know mom, and I just had so many questions and." I start crying as hard as I did when I had to leave Miles and Dad behind.

"It's alright I'm just happy your ok."

He smiles.

"The doctor said you'll be ok in about a week or so depending on how much you move around so, promise me that you'll stay put for a little while..........please."

"Ok I promise." I smile at him.

"You're probably hungry I'll go get you some breakfast ok I'll be back in five minutes ok?"

"Alright, and Stone,"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you,"

I give him a small smile.

He stands still and looks into my eyes.

"I can't loose you too." he says and walks out the door leaving me in the small peach colored room all by myself.
