A poem is simple
You write what you want
But don't be too nimble
For the wrong words can be but a taunt
But if you do it right
You can leave quite the effect
Whispered under the night
To someone direct
And you could awaken the unknown
But be quite careful
Sometimes true emotions are shown
And they can be quite painful
So all in all
A poem is a mysterious thing
It can lead to your own downfall
But when done right it is unparalleled in the ring
