Light exploded from Alice's tower just as I had arrived. The violent intentions left my mind at that very moment and I rushed inside as soon as it was safe. Jack was on the floor, abyssal aura rising out of him like steam.
"Jack!" I cried. "You're bleeding... Did Glen do this to you?" He was silent for a little bit.
"Glen... Is dead," he replied. Then I noticed Alice. She was in a light-colored dress and lying in a pool of blood. My eyes widened in fear and shock.
"Jack, what happened to Alice? Is she ok? She's ok, right Jack? She has to be ok!" My voice trembled and rose in volume. He didn't answer. "Jack," I whimpered. "JACK!" Still no reply.
I hated Alice, but something seemed different about her this time. Even though she was dead, I could tell this was a different Alice. She wouldn't have made Gilbert mad and she wouldn't have made Jack sad. This Alice was kind and gentle. But I never got the chance to meet her... I get this feeling that maybe I would've liked her. Or maybe felt something stronger for her... I could've fallen in love with this Alice. But fate never brought us together.
To take my mind off her, I decided to look for my brother. In the end, I was blamed for her death and the death of the entire town. And to this day, I haven't been able to shake away the thought of her and I... How cruel fate is to put me in so much misery.
