music from your phone was heard all over the room. the lyrics of the song piercing you soul everytime you heard them.
"please dont take my sunshine away.."
you heaved a deep sigh. it's been two years since you broke up with zhengting. after that scene in the park, you never heard of him. not even once.
you broke all the possible communication both of you can have. you blocked him from all your social media accounts. heck, you even moved far away from him.
you tried to forget him, but you couldnt.
you made yourself busy over the span of two years. you worked hard for yourself, and eventually, you became a manager at a five-star hotel.
the music was interrupted when your ringtone was heard. it was your co-worker wenjun calling you.
"hello wenjun. what do you need?" you answered the call.
[uhm hey y/n. i just wanna ask if youre free today?] he asked from the other line.
"oh yes! im doing nothing here at my apartment, do you need help at the hotel? i can go thereㅡ" your words were cut off when he spoke.
[no, no! its not about the hotel.] he explained. your eyebrows raised.
[i just.. do you mind if i take you for a date today?] he continued. wenjun spoke fast but you still understood him.
"i dont! uh, i mean its fine. where do you wanna meet?" you asked. it took him about 20 seconds before answering you.
[i'll pick you up there. is it fine?] he questioned. you chuckled slightly.
"of course, silly. so.. see you later?" you muttered.
[ah yes. i'll see you in less than 30 y/n. bye.] he quickly ended the call, not giving you a chance to bid goodbye.
slowly, you put your phone down and closed your eyes for a while.
there's nothing wrong in dating again right? zhengting is probably happy with the girl from two years ago.
after your little thinking session, you have decided to get ready for your date.

"we're here." wenjun mumbled softly. stopping his car in the parking lot of a known amusement park.
"how did you know i loved amusement parks?" you asked him while your eyes are glued to the huge rides infront of you.
"i dont know.. instincts?" he laughed. you laughed with him.
after that, silence filled his car. both of you looking at each other.
you had to admit, wenjun was stunning. he had soft features, expressive eyes. his lips looked soft and his skin was beautiful.
you didnt even notice that you were staring at him until he snapped.
