Heeeeyyy c: Wasn't this a faaaast update? :D Although I can't promise that there aren't errors or that this is "perfect"... o-o And my god, I'm sorry, but I honestly don't know what there is to do in London. o-o So if that park Harry said he had to meet his mum at doesn't exist, I'm honestly sorry. x-x
CHAPTER FOUR
Harry found himself wishing that the next two days would go by faster; the two days that stood between his and Louis’ outing together. And his wish came through. During the show on those two days, he wasn’t really putting his soul into it like he normally would have. He kept spacing out, and Louis often had to draw him back into the show.
But all Harry could think about was how much Louis was improving, and that each minute that passed brought him closer to the weekend he was going to spend with his partner.
Nothing much had happened during those two days. Liam commended Louis on his good work, and Louis beamed like a child who got full marks on his quiz. Louis’ grin was kind of sort of beautiful and Harry wasn’t going to lie about that.
But Louis was still being cold to Harry, and Harry didn’t like that. For some strange reason, he really wanted to know Louis better. He loved the feeling of being around Louis. It was like, he felt all jumpy and excited like a child when he was in Louis’ company. Like that kind of feeling you got when you found out that you were going to work with the hottest guy/girl in class on a science project. He wanted to be friends with Louis, maybe even best friends. It didn’t seem possible at all though, not at this stage, not yet.
If Harry was being honest, he’d say that it was getting on his nerves. He didn’t understand why Louis refused to speak just slightly more than the bare minimum to him. Why was Louis being so petty about the coffee incident? Why couldn’t he just forgive and forget? Was it that hard?
Maybe if Harry showed Louis that he could be serious when he needed to be then Louis would like him better. But Harry was serious during the show. He always was, because it was his job, and he liked it. Yet Louis still couldn’t find some sort of kindness in him to actually say anything nice to Harry, or say, “Hey Harry, you’re pretty cool when you’re hosting the show”.
All that didn’t matter though. They didn’t matter because all Harry cared about was the outing they were going to have the next day. He was going to make it the best day of Louis’ life even if it cost him his own. No, that made it sound like Louis was everything to Harry. But he wasn’t. He was just a new part of it that Harry wanted to get closer to.
The night before their outing, Harry was thinking about what he’d do the whole day tomorrow with Louis. Well first he’d meet with Louis and then they could buy some to-go sandwiches or something. Then he could take Louis on the London Eye, and he’d pay for it. That was part of being a good host, wasn’t it? After that, they could go on one of those random city tour buses, and then they could have dinner together at some bar, eating finger food and drinking alcohol. That was a good way to end off a dat-outing right? Right.
Then Harry realized that he’d have to text Louis to tell him where to meet the next day. He was quite excited at the prospect of having an excuse to text him, but he didn’t want to come across as looking forward to it.
To: Louis
Hey, it’s Harry here. Uh, I was just going to ask you where you want to meet tomorrow… And what time?
He hit the send button and quickly locked his phone and started busying himself with brushing his teeth and a shower. He didn’t want to be there when his phone vibrated, because he didn’t want to wait there for a reply but never actually get one. It was possible that Louis would ignore him, and Harry didn’t want to accept that.
