Just another love story

Brodie's POV

I walked into the gates of my school and checked the time on my phone 8:20 am the time read, 'I still have about 20 minutes until form class' I thought to myself and walk to my friends, "Brodie!" I hear Dan.ae scream and run up to me, I was tacked into a hug by about three of my friends. I laughed and hugged them back and we all walked back over to our group, I glanced around looking for my best friend I kept looking until I found the pair of brown eyes I was looking for, "Alex" I yelled "Brodie!" He yelled back mocking me, I slapped his arm and giggled "how are you?" I asked him and he just shrugged and looked at his shoes "I'm alright I guess" I looked at him confused but I just let it go and reminded myself to ask him later, "Brodie, come for a walk with me?" I hear Alex ask me "one sec yeah?" I said and ran to give everyone a hug goodbye and ran to Alex who was already walking. "I can't believe you made me run" I said teasingly and shoved him, "well you need to work out more don't you?" he said in a baby voice, I looked at him and looked away and pretended to start crying, me being the great actress that I am he believed me "no Brodie don't cry, I was just joking!" I looked at him and started to laugh and ran away, knowing what was coming next ."Brodie!!!" I hear him yell as I run to the group of grade twelves where I hid behind my brother "Dion, hide me!" I squeak, I hear him chuckle and move away from me knowing that Alex was chasing me "Nope, fight your own battles Brods sorry" I sent him a glare before I start to run again. I saw the boy I like, Peter, he's popular but we get along. "Peter help!" I hide behind him and he just stands there and starts to laugh, I stood there for like 30 seconds until the bell went off, "I'd love to stay Brodie but I have to get to form class, see you in english" he winked and walked off. "I am going to get you Brodie!" heard Alex say "oh shit!" I say and ran away, I got to our classroom and stood there trapped I was facing the wall and I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist, "got you" he whispered in my ear, I giggled and turned around embracing him in a hug "sorry Alex" I mumbled into his neck, "it's ok" he whispered, I felt as if someone was watching us so I looked up and saw Natalie standing with Alex's friend Tyrone, she was glaring at me so I let go of the hug.

You see Natalie and I were like sisters but she was sending messages to my boyfriend saying that I am cheating, lying and flirting with other guys so he broke up with me and I asked why and he showed me all the messages, so I went off at her and she hates me and is trying to ruin my friendship with Alex and all the girls. "Brodie...Brodie!" Alex was saying, I blinked a few times and looked at him "yeah? sorry I zoned out" I looked at him puzzled, "what's wrong?" he asked I didn't want to tell him, Natalie is his ex-girlfriend and I liked Alex since day one but Natalie got involved and ruined it so I have been jealous since then, "nothing" I said in a dull tone. I was sitting in my chair in form with my head in my hands, Alex put his head on my shoulder and asked me what was wrong and I said I feel sick. He left it alone and the bell went signalling the beginning of first period. I hugged Alex and went to English with Peter and Natalie, I was caught up in my thoughts until I came around the corner and looked up to see Natalie pushing Peter against the wall and she leaned in and kissed him. She knew about my feelings for him and then she does this. I knew it was to get back at me for hugging Alex. She pulled away and looked at me, "what are you looking at slut?!" she yelled at me and walked away and I looked at Peter and he looked at me with a sad face.

Well there goes my good mood.
