What Remains Of Isabella Haruki

Isabella walks slowly through the empty, and seemingly terrifying dusty streets of the empty part of town. The part of town where no flesh eating monsters called Titans inhabit. "It's terrifying to think, people use to live here. This street, these homes use to be full of life and happiness. No one suspected anything.." Isabella said lowly as the sound of clinging belts and metal smashing together softly came up behind her. "Slow down Bella! You're walking too fast for me. For you being this short I can say you sure are fast." After a voice said this, a brown haired boy came into view of Isabella's eye. This boy was tall, very tall in fact. To Isabella he was like a giant, just like one of those Titans. "What did I say Jaeger? Stop following me. I can handle myself." Isabella scolded the boy, covering herself in her green elbow length cloak. "I can't trust you anymore Isabella. I can't bring myself to leave you alone after you know..The incident." The boy said, sighing softly after. "We don't speak of that!" Isabella raised her voice, turning to face the boy. Until now she hadn't looked at the boy. She carefully took in the sight of the boy in front of her. His big green eyes and messy brown hair. Isabella somewhat hated this sight. It reminded her too much of her twin brother Oliver. The thought of him shook her mind, Oliver looking almost exactly like the boy. "Even if I let you follow me around, which I won't. You'd never survive my extensive training. While you get days off, I do not. Being a scout leader is harder then you think Brat." Isabella spat at the boy, staring at him with her usual cold and dead eyes. "Stop calling me by my last name! I said call me Eren!" Eren said, Flipping a stray set of hair from his eyes. "You're just like your brother Isabella!" Eren yelled. Realizing what he had said, "Oh Isabella! I'm so sorry! I-I Didn't mean to bring him up!" Eren said over and over, Isabella just stared at him in shock. Tears threatening to leave her Crystal - like red eyes, she turned and ran away. The only thing she was good at.

As Isabella ran through the abandoned streets, she saw the remains of many people. In fact, most of them in pieces. The Titans didn't take mercy, they didn't eat for food but ate for fun. "No wonder." Isabella thought to herself the day she found out they killed for fun. She still remembered the day this whole place went to shit and she was forced into the survey corps..

~Flashback~

"Where's my mommy!?" young Isabella yelled, the small girl running through large crowds of people screaming, crying and some even bloody. "Mommy!" She yelled again when she was stopped by a man in a survey corp uniform. "Child where are your parents?" The short man with black hair asked, looking sternly into little Isabella's eyes. "I-I can't find my mommy!" She cried, but before she knew it she was picked up by the man. "Come on then, lets go." The man trudged through the crowd of people to meet another survey corp member. "This child has lost her parents. What's your last name girl?" The man asked me. "Haruki." Isabella said between sniffles and cries. The other man, with blonde hair and very bushy eyebrows yelled into the crowd of people. "Has anyone seen a Miss Haruki and or Mister Haruki?!" He yelled but no one even tried to raise their hand to say they did and or they were Miss or Mister Haruki. The bushy browed man turned and stared at the black haired short man with a frown on his face. "Would you take her to the base Levi?" The bushy browed man asked. The black haired man, now known as Levi nodded his head and walked off, pushing people aside to get on the highly packed boat. "You'll be okay child. We'll take care of you till we find your mother. For all we know she could be ----" He was cut off by the sound of buildings being crushed and more people screaming. Then everything went black..

~End of Flashback~

Isabella sat against the wall, crying to herself. She punched the wall beside her with her closed fist. "Ugh!" She yelled in anger. "What are you doing out here brat?" A strong and stern voice was heard and she opened her eyes to see Levi, her adoptive father. "Oh. Hello Captain Levi." She said rubbing her tears away from her pale and bruised face from fighting. "Don't make me ask again. What are you doing out her Isabella?" He asked again. "Nothing sir, just..sitting." She responded with a sigh. "Jaeger said otherwise, he said he pissed you off and you ran." Levi said with a grumble. "Ugh, of course Jaeger told. He's acting as if he's my mom." She snickered at her own joke a bit before going stern again. "Well lets get back anyways. I spotted some Titans near by. Wouldn't want the incident to happen again." Levi said, pulling her by the arm up and walking quickly. Isabella kept a fast pace with him as she learned to walk fast from him.

Isabella soon found herself in her room, staring at herself in her large floor mirror. "Ugh, look at all these cuts and bruises.." She ran her fingers along each bruise and grumbled. She took her top off to find even more scrapes and bruises. "I barely look like a human anymore." She huffed. She saw the huge scar from the Incident and teared up. This scar was to be never healed. No bandage, no shirt, no cloth could cover this scar. She was interrupted from her thoughts by her bedroom door swinging open. "Isabella! You in here? Heichou said you came back and I wanted to---" It was Eren walking in and as he spoke he stopped dead in his tracks. He stared at the partially naked Isabella with wide eyes and a growing blush. "Eren get out!" Isabella screamed and after she did so she heard a loud booming set of foot steps running down the hallway towards them. Eren was yanked by the collar out of the room, "Eep!" Eren said and the door slammed shut, Leaving Isabella wide eyed and alone once again...
