~ Jeremy's POV ~
"Jeremy, come on, let's get going!" Dad cheerfully said.
"..Yup, coming." I sighed, throwing my suitcase into the car's trunk. Summer camp. The, for sure, worst time of the year. I always get put in bunks with the popular kids, though the camp managers don't know that they're sort of.. well, mean to me, so I don't blame them. Too late now. Now we're sitting in the car for a 3 hour drive to Summer camp.. Fun fun fun... Though, Michael told me he'd be coming, so, I just better hope we're in the same bunkroom, then I'll have a friend to talk to.
"So, who do you think you'll be in a bunkroom with this time? You're going to a new camp this year, I think some kids from your school'll be there." Dad questioned, rather enthusiastically.
"..Dunno." I sighed.
"Well, maybe you'll get along." Dad's been trying to get a bit more involved in my life ever since the SQUIP incident.
~ Michael's POV ~
"Michael, sweetie, let's go, we're off!" Mom said. I nodded, and threw my bag into the back of the car and sat down.
"..Mom, what if none of them even like me? What if they all make fun of me?" I questioned. Sure, Jeremy's gonna be at the camp, but, my point still stands.
"Oh, honey.. I'm sure you have no need to worry about that. I'm sure you'll be fine." Mom reassured.
I didn't believe her.
