Noah's POV: Hey Shelly what's up? What are you thinking bro, that's the stupidest thing you could've said to you're girlfriend when you haven't seen her for like 2 months.
My inner conversation was interrupting by Elle jumping onto me, in a straddle, while saying, "Oh I've missed you so much No-ah."She pronounced my name very slowly just the way I hated it, but I was far from mad at her. Just as I thought I couldn't be any happier, out of no where she unburies her head from my neck and plants a nice soft kiss on my lips. I obviously kiss her back, missing the taste of her for so long. At the sight of us kissing , and most of the school not knowing we were dating, they all suddenly broke out into a burst of loud cheers.
Elle being quite surprised by this instantly stopped kissing me and once again buried her face in the crook of my neck. I laughed it off and said a quick, "Thanks guys." To the crowd now surrounding us before carrying Elle back into the house, specifically to the more private lounge area on the second floor.
As I was carrying a giggly Elle up the stairs, Monty, the school "comedian" as he likes to be called, yells up to me, "Wow Flynn, Lee's sloppy seconds again this summer? I thought you were better then that."
I immediately set Elle down on the nearest step and walked furiously over to Monty. "I really, really want to deck you right now."
"You won't" He laughed. "I think you're little girlfriend over there will have a fit if you do!"
In no more than two seconds he was down, he would have a pretty hefty bruise on his lower jaw come tomorrow but I didn't care. He should know not to come into my house and disrespect me and my girl like that.
I returned to a stationary Elle looking at me with disappointment in her soft blue eyes. I knew she wouldn't be happy, but she knows I would never let someone say that to her without paying for it.
We walked the rest of the way upstairs in silence but it didn't last long because when she got to the top of the stairs she turned around and said, "You know I hate when you do that, but I'm way too happy to see you run to stay mad for too long."
I smirked at her already knowing it was going to be so nice having her around again, at least for a little bit until I had to leave for Harvard again.
We both sat on the couch sitting still before she snuggled in close to me.
"I'm really going to miss you when you're gone Noah.""Yeah I'm really going to miss you too Shelly, we can talk every night and try long distance." I encouragingly said, knowing that the only way she would be okay with me leaving in two weeks was if we both had the mind set that this would work.
"Yes I agree completely. We can-we will make this work. I love you too much to let you go that easily." She smiled up at me.
She can make my heart melt from saying just about anything, especially with that beautiful smile of hers.
We sat in silence for another few minutes, each other's silence filling the calm air until out of no where she slowly gets up from her position and swings her body onto mine in a straddle position.
"I really, missed you when you were gone Flynn." She said behind a small smile while gently caressing my jawline.
"Well of course I did too." Smirking, I pulled her closer too me until I could feel her warm breath and our noses were almost touching.
