A Love Like Yours|✓[Joey King x Jacob Elordi]

          "Standing here... Infront of everyone," He begins, looking down at me. "I'm telling you that I love you."
        Involuntarily, my heart beats rapidly as we gaze into eachother's eyes, mouths parted.

      "Okay, that's a wrap guys!" Vince Marcello, our head director yells before adding, "You guys have a good night and grab a drink if you need one!"

       I look up at Jacob but he's already walking off set. I know it's only the second day of filming, but you'd think people would be trying to get to know everyone by now. I walk behind the ginormous, red kissing booth to grab an Arizona Sweet Tea from the ice-chest.

      "Ooh, Is there anymore of those in there?" A familiar voice from behind me asks.

      I quickly spin around to see Joel Courtney, the boy who is portraying my bestfriend in the new movie.
     "Oh, yeah!" I chirp. "There's a few left." I say as I hand him the one I had just taken.

      "Thanks Joe. I'm Joel by the way, if you couldn't remember." He shoots me a wide grin before opening his tea.

      "No--Yeah, I remember." I send a soft smile back. "So, Do you like filming so far?" I ask him.

     "Well, yeah..." He starts, walking to his film chair. He sits down as I stand infront of him. "But I hate how films aren't shot from start to finish, You know? That's why my favorite part of it all is after everything's finished, and I get to see it all come together." Joel tends to talk with his hands. I watch his eyes follow something behind me. "Hey Jacob!" He calls out, motioning him to come over.

       "What up, little brother?" Jacob Elordi looks at him and inhales deeply, buffing out his chest. Then he looks at me. "Joey." He mumbles. I have never noticed how strong his Australian accent was until now.

        I give him a confused look. Did I do something wrong during a scene or something? Why doesn't he seem to like me? He shoots me a puzzled look back.

       "So... You guys want to go catch a bite to eat or something? I'm starving!" Joel offers with a smile on his face.

       I take a deep breath. "Sure, I-"
      "I think I'll pass, thanks." Jacob interrupts me. Seriously? He gives me a glance and then turns back to Joel.

      "C'mon man, why not?" He gives Jacobs the ol' puppy dog eyes, causing him to grin and roll his own eyes.

      "Alright mate, whatever." He leans over and pats Joel on the back. They both turn to look at me.

      "Any place you want to go?" Joel questions me, jestering me to add some input.

     "Uhh, Anywhere's fine with me." I give him a quick smile and begin to rock on the heels of my feet. Joel wasn't so bad. He was no Lee Flynn, but I could still see him potentially becoming a friend if mine. Jacob, On the other hand, was a different story.
