"Iñigo, you see Elmo?"
"He's rehearsing ata."
That got me thinking. Why is he rehearsing na agad?
"Thanks. Puntahan ko muna siya."
I was walking alone, along the hallway of AbsCbn studios. I knew na wala namang nag-iba, pero, parang there is something different na nararamdaman ko habang papalapit sa ASAP stage.
There he is.
He's alone.
Parang nagtatago.
He does not want to be notice.
But, why.

This was too familiar.
And that voice. Parang narinig ko na.

I looked at him.
He was too focus. Hindi niya nga ako napapansin eh.
"We belong together always and forever call my name and I'll be there."
It was her.
After that part of the song, napalingon ako sa mismong stage.
There, I saw her.
Julie Anne.
My gazed shifted from her, and then back to Elmo.
He is looking intently at her.
Hindi ko maiwasan na masaktan.
Elmo was too focus on her. Pero, I can't seem to understand his expression. Sobrang hindi ko ma-gets. He looked happy, na parang sad, na gustong umiyak - that at the same time, he wanted to grab her and hug her.
Teka. Ang sakit ng nakikita ko.
Akala ko. Akala ko, nakalimutan mo na siya.
Sa isang iglap parang bumalik sakanya ang lahat.
Dahil lang sa isang kanta.
Kantang alam kong para sakanilang dalawa.
I think, it is better to leave na lang.
I walk directly to the dressing room. I am praying to all the gods na wala sanang tears in my eyes.

Days passed when Julie Anne surprises everyone when she signed a contract with Star Magic.
There is no clue to that. Kaya nagulat kaming lahat.
Lalo na si Elmo.
We were having our late lunch when that news broke our happy and fun times together.
When we learned that she is transferring, silence became evident. Bigla siyang tumahimik. I was trying to make a conversation, kaso, he was no longer in the mood.
I really don't know what really happened between him and Julie, because, I don't ask.

"You see him?" Iñigo approached and I was back to the present.
"Yes. Thanks, Iñigo." I gave him a smile. Yung medyo weak.
"Where is he pala?" He asked.
Iñigo naman, why'd you have to your makulit self right now?
He looked back to me, waiting for an answer.
