Chapter Ten

Your eyes fluttered shut as you curled up at the foot of Jimin's bed protectively as he slept. Your tail coming around you to keep you warm. His soft snores stopped momentarily and you felt your ears perk up.

"Y/N?" He spoke softly. You lifted your head. "What are you doing down there?"

"I'm making sure you stay safe." You sat up, you felt your tail fall against your leg.

"Don't be silly, you'll catch a cold without covers on." He peeled back his covers. "Come here silly."

"A-Are you sure?" Your heart pounded. He nodded and you slid into the covers alongside him, trying not to have moved there too eagerly. His arms wrapped around you and held you close, your head being pulled against his chest with his movements. His heart beat was loud and clear in your ears, and his head rested on the top of yours.

"Y/N... Did Taehyung ever tell you how he came to find you?" He asked quietly, rubbing your back. You shook your head slightly. "I originally found you, curled up under the plastic sheet - you were fast asleep. You weren't wearing anything but a vest top and those baggy pants the warehouse gave you."

"I woke up with a jumper draped over me." You mumbled quietly.

"You were shivering so much..." He hummed quietly, and almost as if he was reliving the memory he tugged the blankets around the both of you much tighter. "I couldn't just leave you there to freeze. But I also noticed that you were a wolf hybrid, and when startled they can attack... I didn't fancy anymore injuries." He chuckled softly.

"Thank you." You whispered softly, you had remembered that night, just before falling asleep you noticed you had lost feeling in your fingers and they were turning blue slightly.

"It's not a problem." He smiled softly. "I'm glad I found you and we took you in..." He whispered, sleep taking over him slowly. "I don't know what I'd do without you." He kissed the top of your head softly before sleep overtook him and his snores filled the room quietly. The steady beat of his heart filling your ears and lulling you into a sleep, a smile on your face.

You were glad that they found you and took you in too, otherwise you wouldn't have met him.
