Graduation flyers full the halls, showing us graduation is few days away. The freshman and juniors are envious, because us seniors are graduation in a few days tops.

I plop down beside Emmett at lunch, and I eat on my chicken. It has been a week since we were all in Italy, playing hero for Edward. Nobody knows I am a hybrid, or that I'm supposedly Aro's hybrid offspring. I don't even know if I am, but Marcus seems sure.

"I am throwing a party!" Alice chirps. "For graduation."

"I mean, how many times do you get to graduate high school?" Jasper asks with an amused smirk.

"Hush," Alice coos. "It'll be Friday night, girls are to wear dresses!"

"Of course, Alice." I coo.

Edward has his suspension that I'm not human, Alice too; because how well I fought back with Felix and Dimitri in Volterra. They say nothing, however, because they don't really know.

Carlisle has been researching nonstop since Edward told him about how I fought to protect Bella from being killed in Italy. Esme has been trying to convince him to stop, so he can hunt. But the man will not stop, Esme is worried.

Maverick is impressed by me, he is the only one who hasn't pestered me. He does have an idea I'm not fully human by my strength. He has had that idea since mine and Bella's birthday party, several months ago.

Rosalie is with Edward and Alice, she is suspicious, but still says nothing.

"Yo," Maverick greets as we leave the school building after the final bell. "Why won't you tell me what you really are? I'm your best friend."

"Because Edward reads minds, and cannot keep his mouth shut." I reply honestly. "I'm headed to Port Angeles to shop, then I'm going home to unload it all, then I'll be to your guys's place."

"Sounds good," Maverick replies. "And I understand why you won't tell me."

"Plus, with the way Carlisle skips hunts with Esme to research, you will all soon know." I reply. "I'll see you guys in a few hours."

The Port Angeles mall is packed full of full blown humans as I enter the place. I struggle to get through the crowds before coming face to face with Victoria.

Victoria's eyes widen when she sees me and she stammers before rushing away. She is still scared of me? I haven't touched her since the prom....

I unpack my things at home, and Charlie stops me before I leave.

"Where are you going?" Charlie asks me, as if he is my real father.

"To Emmett's, Charlie." I reply. "I found my father." I whisper harshly before leaving.

I get into my white Pontiac that Billy sold us, and I drive to the Cullen's. Maverick lets me in when I make it, and he leads me into the foyer where Alice is already decorating for her party.

"It's gonna be like a big city in show lights." I coo towards Alice.

I go up to Carlisle's office. "You need to hunt."

"Got until I...." he freezes when e realized it's me. "Just tell me what you are, it's killing me."

"Trust me, I love your this invested in me," I sigh. "But Esme is worried, Carlisle. You need to hunt. You can invest in my species more."

"Can you at least tell me your parents' names?" Carlisle asks as he flashes over to me, his eyes dark with hunger- my human blood rushing and pulsing.

"All I'm saying is my mom's name was AnnaBeth." I inform him. "Go Hunt, before I throw you out of the window."

Carlisle sighs. "Okay." He says in defeat before he goes for a hunt.

"Thank you," Esme says. "He needed to hunt."

"He would have hurt me if he hadn't." I say. "I won't tell anybody my species."

"I understand why you won't," Esme says right as Bella storms up to me.

"Charlie said you found your father," Bella says.

"I did," I reply while ignoring Esme's curious glance. "Why?"

"Did you find him in Italy?" Bella taunts.

"What?" I gasp. "No!"

"You're lying!" Bella snaps. "I can tell when you're lying."

Esme looks at Bella before she flashes out.

"I. Did. Not. Find. My. Father. In. Italy." I say through gritted teeth. "Plus, it is not like the man will accept me. He probably denies me."

Bella's eyes widen with how I defended myself, and she sees Edward behind me. "Eddie, i think she's lying to me."

Edward looks at me. "She's not going to tell us, I know. Esme seems eager now, she went to find Carlisle. Esme thinks you're lying also, Esmerelda."

"And what do you think?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"I believe Esme." Edward says simply. "Come on. I'm driving you home."

Emmett kisses my head. "I wish you'd tell us the truth."

I growl at him, and he backs away instantly. "I'll walk home."

I leap off the balcony, and land like cat-woman.

I stand and see everyone on the balcony, watching me. I roll my eyes before I take off running, pretty fast like my hybrid speed. I make it to the putter edge of my place.

"Hey," Charlie greets me.

"You told Bella?" I snap at the man. "Don't y'all to me, Charlie."

I step Upstairs before I see an Italian number on my phone, calling.

"Hello?" I say.

"Miss Swan?" The chilling voice of Aro says. "Are you there?"

"I'm here, Mr Volturi." I speak. 

I hear a sigh on the other end of the line. "Looks like you're my child." 

"I know." I reply as Bella walks in. "Bella's here."

"Oh. Well, I will go." Aro says. "Sleep tight, Esmerelda."

My name rolls go the man's tongue before I go downstairs. Edward is looking at me.

"Why was you talking go Aro?" Edward asks me, Bella gasps.

"He called to check on Bella." I shrug. "Goodnight, my sisters vampire boyfriend."

I lock my bedroom door behind me so Bella cannot come in and pester me, and I leap into my bed once in some pajamas. My rest hits my pillow, and I am asleep soon enough.
