Chapter 44: Leaving Space City.

After the shuttle was removed from the garage, Forster drove it to the back of the city which was unguarded by NASA soldiers. Suddenly in the middle of the city, a life sized hologram of Lord Specter appeared in the middle of the city.

"Attention all humans," Specter said. "The Uprising of your demise has come. There is no salvation, no fleeing for mercy, all of you will die from my empire. Now prepare yourselves for my army of destruction." After the hologram disappeared, green lasers came from the glass causing explosions to most of the city. "We better hurry, we're running out of time," Forster said and pressed the turbo booster.

As the city was getting more destroyed, Forster kept driving until they reached the exit. "Alright everyone, hang on to something," Forster said. "We're going through that door." "Through it, don't you think that's a little drastic?" Ellie asked. "Maybe, but it's a chance we need to take," Forster answered.

After increasing the speed, Forster drove the shuttle through the door while also removing the door itself. Once the shuttle was outside of the city, Forster raised the landing wheels, decreased the speed and turned on the auto pilot. Forster and Ellie headed into the back of the shuttle to check on Kathy after setting the auto pilot on. "We're going to half to search for help after we're finished floating in space," Forster said. "You realize Gordon will notice our appearance," Ellie said. "I wrote a note after grabbing the switches," Forster said. "He'll understand."
